1. The real reason to stop being Israeli
Dan   (01.04.15)
Netanyahu has made it shameful and embarrassing to be Israeli. Once it was a reason for pride, to belong to such a brave, besieged, smart and honourable country. Bibi has turned into a medieval, fundamentalist, brutish-looking, stupid place that doesn't know what' stood for it.
2. # 1 what is relevant to Israel?
Calibi ,   Sydney Aust   (01.04.15)
May one who is sensible should ask what is relevant for the survival of Israel? After the Tienanmen Square Massacre in China. Li Peng, premier of China went to Germany and there was protest on the streets. Li Peng gave an open press conference to the. He said that whoever can feed 1.5billion mouths is qualified to take his job! That is relevant for China. All shut up in silence. Is there not enough Aleppo, Damascus, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq.......... I hope God will give stronger leaders after Bibi or at least clone him. Unfortunately and sadly Israeli/Jews needed to learn how to fight in order to defend themself. The world seem evil enough, already mature ready destroy anyone who is a Jew.
3. REnouncing Israeli Citizenship
Ahmed ,   Um el Fahm   (01.04.15)
Most are my fellow Arabs who do not want the hassles of the Jewish state on their passports.
4. #1 Better yet, the real reason to stop being Israeli
Moe   (01.04.15)
Netanyahu is a weakling, a cowardly chicken. But could you imagine Herzog or Lapid as Prime Minister? It wouldn't be 65% but 85%. So Netanayhu is the best of the lot. Israel is at loss for a strong powerful courageous leader.
5. Those Israelis renouncing Citizenship
(01.04.15)
Those Israelis who renouncing their Israeli citizenship are getting sweets from the Jew haters in Europe & others countries. Stay there where you are are, and when you do have problems with the local Jew Haters, DO NOT COME TO ISRAEL AND ASK FOR HELP OR TO COME BACK. Unfortunately, Jews never learn from their mistakes.
6. Ahmed Um el Fahm
JUDAH THE LION ,   QUDS AL YAHUDI   (01.04.15)
Hope all the Arabs in ISRAEL to emigrate to Europe and USA. Emigrate to Europe to help your fellow MUslims to be majority and Inshallah all Europe to be Islamic with strict Islamic SHARIA law Please renounce your Israeli citizenship now. Dont live with the Jews which you are calling them apes & pigs.
7. A proud Israeli American, I want the best for both.
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.04.15)
Israel has been a hard country to agree with sometime. But it's still a country in formation deserving a dialogue and democracy in action, like the United States. Wonderful people live in Israel deserving admiration and support. However, there also are many negative elements in Israel. I sometime think that the best for Israel would be to re-start the country from the beginning, from the Aliya Rishona. It hurts to think that way.
8. #2
Harold ,   USA   (01.04.15)
Why are you living in Australia. #1 is right.
9. article says nothing
Jake ,   haifa   (01.04.15)
How many are Jews, how many Arabs, how many new immigrants who left after a short time (some of whom may have been ex-Soviet non-Jews) how many sabras, how many from East Jerusalem and how many from Israel proper? Without this information, the article says nothing.
10. 6.
Birdi ,   Israel   (01.04.15)
Well said, Judah.
11. Maybe these israelis are Olim who left, it might be easier
Leon   (01.04.15)
easier to wash you hands off the Aliyah dream and get back to the first world. I left israel a few years ago and have never really looked back.
12. You would thnk Arab citizens would be
Mark ,   London, UK   (01.04.15)
the first to give up their passports if they could get hold of another what with them suffering from so much discrimination et al.
13. If I were an Israeli Citizen
Bob   (01.04.15)
I will never give it up, not even for the world.
14. Relinquished US Citizenship for Israeli
yitzi ,   Bet Shemesh   (01.04.15)
I Relinquished US Citizenship for Israeli along with my entire family 10 years ago. Never looked back, did not have jobs, did not speak Ivrit. G-d has blessed us all with good jobs and homes. There is something to be said for believing the directives of the Tanach and Talmud that the ONLY home for a Jew is Eretz Yisrael.
15. They are still Jewish
Mark ,   Jerusaelm   (01.04.15)
16. best of both
rjd ,   london/tel aviv   (01.04.15)
I live between london and tel aviv, i hold british and israel passports and have the best of both worlds. When i want to holiday where they do not accept israeli passports i calmly just walk in without any fuss, when europe turns to genocide once again towards jews i can wlak calmly back into israel with no fuss. I say live where it suits but surely never give up the only ticket to survival when the europeans decide to commit genocide once again.

Sturm ,   EU   (01.05.15)
Except it isn't the Europeans committing genocide right now is it...
18. How Many were Arabs Tel Avivian's?
DeadWoodNoUse ,   Jerusalem Israel   (01.04.15)
Interesting to know how many were "Israeli Arabs" Tel Aviv Anarchists or the children and grandchildren of the Assimilationist Jews of Europe who fled to Israel during the Nazi period and whose offspring will return to complete what there grandparents had already begun . Interesting to know how many are from our "Media Star" families many came from German Assimilated Jews and like all the other assimilated Jews only came here because no one else would let them in .
19. #8 And how many years have YOU lived in Israel, bumpkin,
A ,   Belgium   (01.05.15)
entitling you to express your worthless opinions about subjects you have absolutely no knowledge of?
