1. EU money goes to terrorism- shame!
nadav ,   tlv   (01.06.15)
Nice try Mohgerini, but everyone knows EU taxpayer money is going to pay criminals and terrorists! Why else does the EU refuse to disclose the paper trail of where the money goes? And Mogherini, we all remember you posing with the arch terrorist Arafat when you were a young, card-carrying pro-Soviet communist! I can't believe this is who was appointed to lead the EU Foreign representation to the world! disgrace!
2. France warning too late
C   (01.06.15)
france and other western powers have given too much encouragement to a group that is best known for its acts of terror.
3. Hypocrites
(01.06.15)
The French say: "While we think the Palestinians have the right to move the status quo, at the same time there has to be an effort to find a consensus solution." Actually, no. As part of Oslo PLO undertook not to move the status quo. If the French support PLO moving status quo, they must accept that Oslo is nul and void, or agree that Israel "move the status quo" by massive Jewish building in Judea and Samaria. European Union criticized a decision by Israel last week to withhold... tax revenue from [PLO]. EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said the decision runs "counter to Israel's obligations under the Paris Protocol", signed in 1994, which established the economic relations between Israel and the Palestinian territories Actually, PLO decision to join ICC and go to the UN nullifies Oslo and the Paris Protocol, so by Europe's own logic, withholding tax income is a reasonable (though weak) response by Israel.
4. French UN vote was against the Oslo Accords
Bob K ,   Orlando fl us   (01.07.15)
France criticized Israel's withholding of PA tax revenues as being 'against the Paris protocols which govern Israel - PA economic relationship. Yet, France's UN security council vote, in favor of unilaterally deciding the boundary between Israel and the PA according to the 1949 ceasefire line between Israel and Jordan, clearly went against the 1993 Oslo Accords which define the necessity of a negotiated agreement, including a future boundary between Israel and the PA. As for the PA tax revenues, they can help pay the over $500m PA debt in unpaid electric bills it owes to the Israel Electric Corporation. The Palestinians don't pay their electric or water bills and count on the fact that Israel would be condemned if it cuts supplies. The answer is to use PA tax money to pay PA bills.
5. Seriously hollande why would europe be frustrated

7. At some time maybe Abbas will wake up
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (01.07.15)
And realise that these antics are not going to advance Palestinian Self Determination ONE IOTA and could cost US dearly More likely it will set back the process and create an impossible atmosphere in which to conduct face to face negotiations with Israel for years if not decades And the whole world knows apart it seems from Abbas that the narrative is NOWHERE NEAR as one sided as he would have us beleive Having said that...there are signals that give me cautious and guarded optimism for 2015 once Israeli Elections are over Lets hope Abbas doesnt throw away another opportunity
