The Swedish foreign minister invited herself to Israel, she was not invited, and she very recently snubbed Israel. If a person who do not like you turn up at your door and tries to invite themselves into your house, it's small wonder if you don't throw a big reception.
3. Perfectly justified action on our behalf.Sweden is pure rot!

5. An insult??
Beary White ,   Norway   (01.15.15)
Swedish politicians should never be allowed to enter the State of Israel. The Swedish politicians are digging in to harvest islamic voters, whom they have just imported in thousands to stay in power. The result is devastating for the country which once was a nice country to live in. Violence and killings are part of a normal day in Sweden and reaches 300 per year compared with before the -70 when the number was about 50. The acceleration came with their immigration policy, which paved way for the current 20% SD-party As a result more than 100.000 "origin" swedes have crossed the border and are now working in Norway. And sadly for the swedes they are already a minority in Malmø.... THAT is what I am calling an insult to the Swedish ..from the politicians..
6. More Swedish hypocrisy
Jake   (01.15.15)
Suddenly, the Swedish FM wants to come to Israel to commemorate the Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg. Wallenberg ended up languishing and perishing in a Stalinist Gulag, and not a peep was heard out of Sweden on his behalf.
7. I'm glad Israel is taking a stand.

It would be interesting to run a poll on what citizens of Israel think about Swedastans move to recognize the state that does not exist.

11. Swedish policies not engendering friendly relations.
(01.15.15)
Sweden's policies on Palestine, banning of ritual slaughter, frowning on ritual circumcision, catalogue of recent Anti - Semitic incidents in Sweden ( and mayor of Malmo) in recent years does not provide a very kind background to a state visit to Israel , although it shouldn't be a barrier. The Raoul Wallenberg ceremony acknowledges exceptional actions shown by the Swedish Diplomat in WW2 in rescuing thousands of Hungarian Jews. Rightfully a Swedish presence should accompany the Ceremony to commemorate this and other Swedish rescue efforts near the end of WW2. But an expression by the government of disapproval of Sweden's policies is quite understandable.
12. # 4 Actually, the Winston Churchill quote is
