tTEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED OBVIOUS   (01.17.15)
Mr. Clancy ,do not let the door hit you on your way out.
2. MISSING YOU ALREADY
CAPTAIN SARCASTIC ,   SAFED OBVIOUS   (01.17.15)
3. CNN....like Fox
Shosh   (01.17.15)
except polar opposite politically. Gone are the days when reporters simply reported the news as it was, not as perceived by ideological leanings. Now it is opinion news where talking heads openly express their politics. Fox rants on terror while CNN falls over themselves excusing it. Both have accomplished little profiling the victims of terror yet we know complete biographies of terrorists. Every ethnic group gets a pass except Jews. Nothing new for 3,000 years! Disdain for Jews inherent in humankind and any student of history can tell you, no one is shy expressing it.
4. If this an anchor...
Arie. R. ,   Ashkelon   (01.17.15)
I wonder what titles they have for really good journalists?
5. Ah spoze he is getting a job at Al Jezeera for triple the $$
Alan ,   SA   (01.17.15)
6. 1 anti-Semitic ancho gone, more like Weiderman need to go
Scott ,   Ramat Gan   (01.17.15)
CNN deliberately avoided making any reference to the fact that the victims of the terrorist attack on the supermarket were Jewish. Weiderman is also very anti-Israel, during his coverage of the Gaza war he avoided showing Hamas shooting rockets from homes & schools wen he was in Gaza & is typically spouts Arab propaganda.
7. About time....
Oded ,   Usa   (01.17.15)
A 3rd tier reporter, who showed his anti Israel sentiments at every opportunity, Clancy will not be missed. And take amanpour with you.
9. He was fired because he insensitively used the word "cripple
Ehud   (01.17.15)
Clancy later told the Twitter account for Human Rights News, “You and the Hasbara team need to pick on some cripple at the edge of the herd.” Amazing that ynet never gets it quite right
10. Clancy was a SHAME to America and he
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (01.17.15)
is DONE for good ! GOOD RIDDANCE !
11. Charlie Hebdo
James ,   Canada   (01.17.15)
Funny how free speech doesn't seem to apply when discussing Israel or Judaism. But Mohammed, Jesus, the Pope...everyone else is fair game apparently.
12. Jim Clancy resignation: good riddance!
D. Rund ,   Jerusalem Israel   (01.17.15)
good riddance to an antiSemite and anti Israel member of the press. Hope no one else hires him!!
13. Mr. Clancy
Nadya ,   California, USA   (01.18.15)
You must be proud of being responsible for forcing Mr. Clancy to resign after 34 years with CNN. These Jewish groups have way to much influence in the realm of media. Do not be surprised at the blowback, this will not go unnoticed. If you didn't like what he had to say you had the right not to listen.
14. He never hid his anti-Israel attitude
Eric ,   New York   (01.18.15)
I watched him for years on CNN and wrote to him at times to object to his unabashed prejudice against Israel in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict shown in his reporting. I was amazed retained the position he had and the freedom to say what he did for so many years. Shame on CNN for allowing it for so long.
15. Agree w/# 9
Ronda ,   USA   (01.18.15)
I had not heard he left CNN due to any anti- Jewish remarks. He tweeted " go pick on a cripple " and was immediately condemned for use of term "cripple" by various groups, including a prestigious foundation. I dont think he would ever have had to retire because of overt criticism of Israel or its supporters.
16. My hat tip Mr. Clancy, Sir ,...
split   (01.18.15)
Coincidentally just like H. Thomas and few others that dared to shed some light on Zionist politics lost his job ,... Of course the Jews don't control media ;) ,...
17. Finaly! We are moving out to defend our intrests
David Fakheri ,   L A U S A   (01.18.15)
18. @ #11 - James from Canada
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (01.18.15)
When was the last time you saw Jews burning churches or mosques and demanding that people die for the cartoons they published? To rebut against defamatory speech with words is legitimate, to murder, bur and kill is not. If you can't understand the difference, then you also don't really understand what free speech is. Free speech gives you the right say just about whatever you want to. It also gives me and everyone else the right to reply--perhaps in terms you dislike. If you think that burning churches or synagogues, rioting in the streets and murdering people is a legitimate for of protest, then there's something very wrong with your opinions.
19. Isn't it amazing...
ex-frummie ,   Johannesburg S.A.   (01.18.15)
That very few if any of the major news organizations are carrying this story. I see the NY Times just came late to the party. Think it is time for CNN, BBC, SKY etc. to lose their anti-Israel bias and report on the news as it is, not as they spin it.
20. bad hair
Tom Paine ,   NY, USA   (01.18.15)
He got fired for wearing a really obvious hair piece. Same reason voters gave Eric Cantor the boot. Transplants. Yeah. That's the way they do it on MTV.
