I guess if Canadian Govt. representatives are not welcome in Israel, Canadian aid isn't either. I would be much happier if my tax dollars were given to a more deserving people anyway. Time to end Canadian UNRWA funding too!

Palestinians reject a Jewish Israel so they just want to be handed a state in return for nothing. They want an Israeli territorial withdrawal no strings attached so that they can move on to Israel itself. They are used to Western countries coddling them hoping to evade terrorism. For Canada peace means Palestinian and Jewish states.That's not good enough for Palestinians.

I'm with you on UNWRA funding there, but otherwise you missed the point. Israel has lots of respect for Canadian Prime Minister Harper and welcomes Canadian government representatives. Ramallah is Mahmoud Abbas's home base in Palestian-controlled territory and the people throwing eggs and shoes are Palestinians.

I hope more Israelis will adopt your viewpoint. It makes lots of sense. Let's withdraw and leave them alone. It should be their responsibility to clean after themselves.

UNWRA was indeed founded on good principles, as was the entire United Nations. You are impossibly naive, however, if you think that's what's really happening. You *do* realize, I hope, that Hamas stockpiled weapons and ammo to be used against Israeli civilians in friendly UNWRA schools and health clinics. Aside from that, Israel provides free electricity, fuel, building supplies and other things to Gaza. They're not exactly cut off from the whole world. During Operation Protective Edge, Gazans repeatedly reiterated that they were in no need of food aid.

So, Hamas abused UNWRA schools and clinics in Gaza .. Shut them in WB. Israel provided free electricity, fuel and other things to Gaza. (What about WB?) Keep up the good work and stop whining. It seems impossible for Palestinians to "hurt" their cause by doing anything imaginable. They have given up their land, rights, patrimony, businesses, bank accounts etc., everything. How on earth could they "hurt" their cause any further? This guy is a moron.
