At the same time, the paper supports Herzog and Livni, two people who haven't found the time to protect the same IDF soldiers from Abbas' accusations that they are war criminals. YNet must demand that Herzog and Livni publicly support the soldiers, or stop supporting these two politicians

The article states the one of the soldiers killed 4 terrorists. Wasn't Israel the terrorists in this case? After all, They were the ones murdering civilians and children.

No, Israel was not the terrorist. Israel is a sovereign state and, as such, has an affirmative duty to protect and defend its citizens and its borders. That duty is in no way thwarted because Hamas likes to pile lots of women and children and old people -- but never adult males -- around sites that are legitimate military targets. Here's a news flash, chica: if you stockpile weapons in a school, and use the schoolyard as a launching pad for missiles targeting innocent Israeli civilians, you turn that school and that schoolyard into a legitimate military target. Hamas were -- and are -- the terrorists. Israeli soldiers were merely defending Israel against loathsome Arab terrorists. Do you have a problem with that? Too bad. Take it up with Hamas. Tell them not to use their women, children and elderly as human shields. Doesn't matter if there were one thousand children forced to gather in the school's courtyard. The instant that courtyard was used to launch attacks against the sovereign State of Israel and innocent Israeli civilians, it became a legitimate military target. You seem to have such empathy for baby terrorists. And no empathy whatsoever for innocent Jewish children who live, eat, sleep and study in bomb shelters. You are one sick puppy, chica.

I wouldn't worry too much. The Israeli voting public knows exactly what's going on. Someone ought to publish photographs of the brave Israelis who were wounded and crippled while protecting Israel against its enemies. A constant barrage of such photos, starting now, and continuing right through March 17. The deluded Israelis need to know the truth. With that sort of a public relations campaign, Herzog/Livni will be lucky to come away with one Knesset seat. If the Tragermans agree, publish photographs of little Daniel Tragerman. Take pictures of the bomb shelters in Ashdod and Ashkelon and kibbutzim near the Strip. This is where Jewish babies live, sleep, study. The public mostly knows this. But a picture is worth a thousand words. Then show a picture of Herzog's villa and Livni's villa. They live in luxurious splendor ... while Jewish children live in bomb shelters. Trust me. It will work.
