Changing foreign policy will not change the world's view that Israel would rather hold onto and extend the settlements, and have the whol West Bank, than have peace. The accusation that all the wars since '48 were just land-grabs has been 'proven' in many minds by Sharon/Bibi's aggressive expansion of settlements. Israel has not only failed to undermine this pretext for Arab violence, it has legitimized it. Abandon the settlers now, and Israel might find a way back to credibility. Otherwise, it won't.
