1. IRGC Generals should stay away from Israel; Hezbollah too
C   (01.21.15)
these arrogant puffed up shia terrorists should know by now that israel has red lines and israel enforces her red lines. iran threatens israel with physical annihilation continuously. yet obama pretends that he can negotiate with iran in good faith and get an acceptable deal while iran threatens to wipe out a sovereign nation while also committing genocide in syria. obama and the rest of the so-called civilised world must understand that for israel the shia terror regime is an existential threat.
2. Easy way to find out
Peter Miller ,   London   (01.21.15)
If it cames to a war-Israel should warn people in Lebanon like in Gaza to stay away from rockets because they must bomb it.With satellits photos and handy detections you will see where many people go away,so you know where the rockets etc. are!
3. no revenge
(01.21.15)
The conflict is not personal, and Nasrallah will not look for revenge. What does Friedman think a Revolutionary Guard General was doing with Hezbollah's top field commander in the Syrian-occupied Golan? Tourism? The Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbolla are at war with Israel, and their purpose is destruction of Israel. Iran and their allies will plan their attack, and the loss of their soldiers is just the price of war.
4. Always the word for a laugh
Moshe the Genuine   (01.21.15)
His problem is that he cannot do anything to avenge the death of his colleagues. And before he does, two other missiles will eradicate the potential threat.
5. Assassination in Syria
Nadya ,   California, USA   (01.21.15)
I think this article is total Israeli hasbara. It was not clear who the assassins were targeting, Israel did it because they could. It was a big Oop's once it was made known they killed a top Iranian General. Stupid to provoke Iran, makes no sense, although the author is trying to convince otherwise.
6. Those rabid dogs will attack anyway
Avi L.   (01.21.15)
Hezballah's goal is to destroy Israel and kill Jews, so what's the difference? Those rabid dogs will attack anyway, in the end it will make no difference whether we kill some now or later. Restraining ourself or not won't change anything, quite the opposite, if we don't attack the jihad audience will take it as a sign of weackness, of fear.
7. Sounds like he's quoting Ehud Barak &Israeli leaders :-)

8. Short day into an endless night: no lovers.
