Sara Netanyahu is an alcoholic; there is no doubt about that. She needs help; not public ridicule and scorn. And not lawsuits. The prime minister will gain a lot of respect if he comes clean and admits publicly that Sara has a problem. Gerald Ford did that with respect to Betty Ford, who was a raging alcoholic. The American people rallied around him and were supportive of Betty Ford. Israel is not really a drinking culture -- the United States is -- but I think the Israeli people will rally around and support her. Ignoring her and ridiculing and criticizing her is not going to help Sara. We owe her more than that. Can't we step up? A national intervention, so to speak? Substance abuse is a terrible thing. Sara Netanyahu is the First Lady of the most reviled nation in the world. Time to rally around her and give her the help and support she needs.

Obama thinks a nuclear Iran is a US interest. He supported Ahmadinejad, he prevented an Israeli military strike and now announced he will veto any sanctions on Iran. Netanyahu thinks a nuclear Iran is a danger to Israel and is doing everything to enlist American aid to prevent it. Instead of the incessant personal high-school attacks on Netanyahu, why don't you give us Herzog, Livni and your view on a nuclear Iran? Do you agree with Obama that it is a good thing that Iran has nukes?

Prime Minister Netanyahu doesn't have an easy job. He is always so controlled, so polished in public and before the international press. He's taking the stress out somewhere; somehow. Odds are, it's Sara. We owe both of them a great deal more than we have given. Prime Minister Netanyahu is owed our support. Sara Netanyahu is owed our help.

We care if they waste our money when so many people don't have enough! We care if they destroy our relationship with other countries in the world. Why has anyone mentioned she still works helping schoolchildren get ahead in school. Her help in yad-le yad and children with cerebral palsy and puts a lot of money from her own pocket for this?
