1. Maybe it was an idiot who posted that,or just an Englishman?
(01.29.15)
2. Who is Talking???
Jerome ,   AKL   (01.29.15)
Can you Britons stop talking about WWI? How about ANZAC, red plastic poppies and old farts parading at Galipolli, like if that was the only war in history of mankind? But of course Jews must not talk about their tragedies......
3. The big question of the day:
Ari ,   USA   (01.29.15)
Can we finally put the BBC to rest????
4. Stop talking about the Holocaust?
tiki ,   belgium   (01.29.15)
When the Brits will stop talking about WW1 and stop wearing their 'poppys . Saw the program and the most disgusting person in the whole panel was? An Israeli female "Professor with a thick Israeli accent who used the platform to claim that Israel uses the Holocaust , Netanyahu is a big sh.. because "Palestinians" are victims of his policies. Can't beat Israeli lefties! They will use every opportunity to spit their venom against the state who gave them the opportunity to become professor.

Oldtimer ,   New Zealand   (01.30.15)
Gallipoli is regarded as a most important event in forging New Zealanders' sense of themselves as a nation. Obviously this doesn't apply to NZers like Jerome in Auckland who cannot even spell ''Gallipoli'' properly.
6. More dhimmi-thought from BBC
Avi L.   (01.30.15)
Dhimmi BBC is plainly doing islamists job in trying to erase the Shoah from people memories. Must be that some rabid dog threatened BBC for talking fo the Shoah, or maybe some politically correct planner decided to eliminate from the broadcast anything that could "antagonize" or "hurt their sensibility".
7. lets stop talking about!!!
rjd ,   london   (01.29.15)
christians and moslems were the chief offenders in the holocaust so obviously they both want to quieten the attrocities they put upon Jews. As a Jewish person i make sure my children and will make sure their children will know the full extent christianity and islam perpatraited against us Jews. They may want to shut up Jews and they may try to scrap the holocaust from the history books but just as they have not and can not take away our love of our observances for out G-d, they will not take away our voices being passed down to our children and our childrens children forever more... You did the wicked deed against us so we shall always make sure you remember what you did then and are trying to do now.
8. The General Consensus
Claude ,   UK and Cape Town   (01.30.15)
of the programme was in agreement that remembering the Holocaust was essential. A black muslim woman spoke out eloquently about the importance of combating anti semitism and holocaust denial in the muslim community. She put the Israeli "academic" to shame. Well over 150000 attended Holocaust Memorial events this week across the country and the BBC aired many moving and important programmes which were widely watched as audience figures can verify.

I will respect your old men parading with made in China poppies as long as you fully respect our remembrance day. Australia and NZ chose to send battalions to fight beside the British. We were deported and mass murdered in cold blood. In fact 1.5 times the whole population of NZ was wiped out. How about English as my fifth language? can you beat that Mr tall poppy syndrome? BTW, Gallipoli was just a typo mistake. But hey buddy what do you know apart from the property market, beer and STDs?
10. Okay, no history lessons anymore in schools
barbara ,   Haifa   (01.30.15)
Wow, kids don't need to learn anymore of historical events and dates (I hated memorizing dates). If you cancel the Holocaust from history, then all history must be cancelled.
11. After the Holocaust Prevent a Nuclear Holocaust
Zechariah   (01.31.15)
The Jewish Holocaust can never be forgotten and it is vital forthe Jews to keep the Inhunamanity remembered despite the pain .The USA has an ambassodor to the UN Samantha Power and one of her life missions has been holocaust Prevention.Mass murders Massacres Tortures War crimes civil crimes are far harder to prevent .And a nuclear exchange even Holocaust is a terrible threat .We are overloaded with threat and the Reaction has to be preparation and prevention .Mitigations Non -Provocation CeaseFires yet. Obsessive Vigilance .
12. The resistance topic must be analyzed.
Michael ,   California, USA   (01.30.15)
It is important to talk about the future, to ask how Israelis have contributed to overcoming the stigma of a defenceless Jew who did not resist the Nazis but will never be defenceless again. It is important to understand why did so few Jews resist and to act for "NEVER AGAIN WITHOUT RESISTANCE."
13. british history
Peter Rimoczi ,   Duessldorf/Germany   (01.30.15)
It is time to stop talking ab out british history details as unimportant AS BBC became!
14. show
dan London ,   London   (02.19.15)
I watched this show, and you no what, the actual discussion never once discussed dropping the holocaust. The question was stupid and provocative, but everyone spoke in the context of HOW we discuss the holocaust. The only person who spoke negaitvely ironically was an anti-Zionist Israeli, who critisced Israeli governments for taking world leaders to Yad Vashem. She was walked all over by other people, inlcuding may I say a Muslim woman who spoke so eloquently about her own religion's denigration of the Shoah. So despite the toxic nature of the question, I found the discussion uplifting
