Under the pretence of respectability they tell blunt lies, fuel anti Semitism and propagate terror. It's called brainwashing the ignorant masses. That's what Hitler & Goebbels did, that's what BBC & Sky do. They have no shame!
3. Isnt it TRUE, when we defended ourself this did lead to
Jacob ,   Tel Aviv   (01.29.15)
a rise in antisemitism all around the world , there is no excuse for it but its true. All the rent a mob morons are out in America, Australia, Europe. The rabbi was right, its been around for years but sadly the idiots come out at a time like when Israel defends itself. This anti British Ynet propaganda is so tiresome, and the readers suck it up as if its bible.
4. What? Pictures from Gaza? Including Both
Doug ,   Rochester, USA   (01.29.15)
the atrocities committed against the Jews and the atrocities committed by the Jews is unfair and anti-Semitic. The world should only see what happened 70+ years ago before almost anyone alive was born, not what happened within the past year! Who cares what happened less then a year ago. All that matters is what happened 70+ years ago. Shame on the British! They need to begin using paid Hasbarists to edit and sensor their shows before airing them.
5. Bolton and BBC Cabal
Joseph ,   Fort Lauderdale, US   (01.29.15)
Why Israel continues to give BBC press credentials is a question. Sooner or later BBC will pay the price of their arrogance. G-d willing the UK Moslem community will handle Bolton and his friends in their vile ways.

Hard to stomach. If the UK, US or any other country was attacked by rockets, it would hit back hard. The fact that the the BBC/Skynet reporter is blaming Israel for what would constitute acceptable behavior for any other country is living proof that Antisemitism thrives in the UK and the media. The fact that he's using it to "explain" or justify the Antisemitism is outrageous. But he goes a step further by introducing it and the pictures in connection with International Holocaust Memorial Day / 70th anniversary of the liberation of Aushwitz is criminal. Vile individual so indoctrinated by the pervasive falsehoods our our haters.

12. Stupidity to compare Shoah genocide to Gaza war
Alan ,   Canada   (01.30.15)
Jews were not at war wiith Germany when the nazi regime tried to kill all Jews without exception, all civilians. The Gazans under Hamas rule are in constant war with Israel & uses military trained soldiers & non ununiformed terrorists to keep the conflict going mostly against Israeli civilians. Israel does not seek the extermination of the Gazans, only the downfall or containment of Hamas. As to the responders to the BBC question about "laying the Holocaust to rest", I would say to those who approve the idea that they have no concept of the historical significance of the tragedy not just for the victims & the survivors but for the whole world. Hitler demonstrated for the first time in the history of civilisations that even with conventional weapons it was possible to eradicate whole nations, even a continent. This was not possible before the mid-1940's. The Shoah & the advent of nuclear bomb are the two capital events of the 20th century which will continue to affect the future of humaniry as unparalleled threats to survival. These threats could worsen given the increasing world population & the spreading poverty both sources of potential conflicts , not to speak of the various radical islamist groups like Hamas, seeking to rule the world by conversion to their beliefs if possible, by extermination if necessary.

WHAT atrocities committed by the Jews? Here's a news flash, sluggo. Israel is a sovereign state and, as such, has an affirmative duty to protect and defend its citizens. The State of Israel is responsible for Israelis. Hamas is responsible for Gazans. Here's another news flash, dumbo. Caching weapons in schools, private homes, hospitals and mosques instantly turns those schools, private homes, hospitals and mosques into legitimate military targets. That Hamas would callously and deliberately target innocent Israeli civilians makes Hamas guilty of war crimes. That Hamas deliberately stacked Gaza's civilians in and around legitimate military targets makes them guilty of crimes against humanity. But I'll tell you what. Why don't you offer up ninety percent of your very large family to be herded like sheep into the gas chambers? Then you can tell me if time has any bearing on the cold-blooded genocide of the Jewish people. Fully one-third of the world's population of Jews were slaughtered. How DARE you tell me that I should forgive and that I should forget because of the length of time that has passed? Ah -- lest I forget -- for an American, you're pretty neducated. The word is "censor," not "sensor." Thanks for proving just what a moron you are.
19. the British paved the way for the Holocaust

the Munich Agreement was the British way of saying as long as we have a peace we couldn't care less if you kill the Jews
20. Our leaders inaction over years to blame
InactionCausedThis ,   Jerusalem Israel   (01.30.15)
By not making decisive decisions annexing and building reclaiming eastern Jerusalem as the capitol of the nation not settling the Galilee the Negev and Judea and Samaria giving Israeli Arabs cultural Independence we by our own actions have drawn out this situation lack of political will that could have been history long ago we are the blame. The world would long ago have forgotten the dramatic historic actions taken ...bad leaders weak leaders timid leaders corrupt leaders
21. @ #4 - Doug from Rochester
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (01.30.15)
It's attitudes exactly like the one you express here that emphasize the need to remember the Holocaust - and not "just" because of the six million Jews murdered. Also because of the million Gypsies, tens of thousands of mentally handicapped, gays, dissenters, partisans resisting the Nazi regime and millions of Russian PoWs who were worked to death. Insensitivity such as yours is a guarantee that there are people capable of visiting another Holocaust on the world. Be ashamed of yourself!

Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (01.30.15)
Actually the first ever recorded example of a genocide was the Romans against the Carthagians at Carthage. Horrific as The Holocaust was, it is not the only attempt to eradicate a section of Humanity, and as was seen in Rwanda and Cambodia and Gaza last Summer not the last
23. #20 So let me understand
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (01.30.15)
We should have set about eradicating the Palestinians in 1967 as the world would have forgotten about it by now? In that case maybe it is time to end the commemoration of the Holocaust, just as we have the D-Day landings where the last official commemoration was last year
24. #18 Sarah B
Ivor Evenbiggergun   (01.30.15)
You may wish to commemorate the Holocaust, but why force the rest of us to do so? Surely it is an individual matter, I was born 30 years after the end of The Second World War, the Holocaust has nothing to do with me, let alone my kids

26. To No.22
Alan ,   Canada   (01.30.15)
Yes, before & after the Shoah some of the genocides attempted to exterminate a whole ethnic group. But my main point is that before the Shoah & the advances in weaponry & transportation of the 20th century, there was no way to accomplish complete annihilation over vast territories. In addition death had to brought to each location & means of moving the murderers were slow & limited. The victims had to be killed one by one. In the Shoah the majority of victims were easily deported in large numbers and killed in groups away from their homes. Had Hitler won WWII, he would have had the means to implement his nightmarish dream of eliminating all those he considered as "sub-humans". No previous ferocious conqueror even Atila or Gengis Khan could accomplish anything close to that scale. And most were mainly interested in gaining terrirory, treasury, slaves...Not depopulating continents.
27. The world is sick!!!!
Rosie   (01.30.15)
The world is happy when Jews are lead to extermination camps and they don't defend themselves. They want the Jews to sit quietly and get killed. This is crazy when the Jews defend themselves the world has a problem with it. They world has no problem when radical Islamist are working to destroy our Western world. It is absurd!!!!
