that harboring hisbollah on their territory makes them responsible for Hizbollah. Lebanon go back to learn International Law and stop crying claiming distancing yourself from Hezbollah, this will not protect from the Israeli military retaliation. A good advice though in order to avoid Israeli retaliation is thus to control and disarm Hezbocrazyla.
2. Sorry, but that's just not how it works

Hezbollah is part of the government of Lebanon. Under all recognized precepts of international law, what Hezbollah does is an act of the government of Lebanon. Was it a mistake to allow an Iranian-driven terrorist organization to join the ranks of the government of Lebanon? Well, duh, yeah. But you cannot put toothpaste back into the tube, Any and every act by Hezbollah is an act of the Republic of Lebanon. It's up to the Lebanese to decide how this one will play out. Keeping in mind, of course, that if the government of Lebanon (which includes Hezbollah) remains stupid, Israel will take matters unto itself. Which means that the Litani becomes Israel's new northern border. A message to the government of the Republic of Lebanon: when you lie down with dogs, you should expect to get up with fleas. Whether they like it or not, Lebanon is responsible for any and all acts perpetrated by Hezbollah. Hezbollah is, after all, part of the government in Lebanon. Stupid? Oh, gosh, yes. Monumentally so. But that's not Israel's problem, is it? The government of Lebanon WELCOMED Hezbollah into their ranks. Sow the wind often enough, and you will have to reap the whirlwind. Israel is not in the business of sympathy, empathy or anything else. The sovereign State of Israel is charged with this, and ONLY this: the protection and defense of Israeli civilians. It's an affirmative duty. We don't care all that much about who and what we destroy in our DUTY to protect the people of Israel. Get in our way; get destroyed. It really is all that simple.

It's called Democracy - the people of Lebanon elected Hezbollah into government, not the government invited Hezbollah. #getyourfactsstraight
6. "international umbrella that protects Lebanon.."
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (01.30.15)
He's got it bang on. The UNSC didn't issue Resolution 1701 to disarm Hizbollah and exclude its terrorists from South Lebanon,as it claimed. Its purpose was to protect Hizbollah and the people who shield it. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
