4. Chutzpa
Zee ,   New York   (02.01.15)
Oh so now its the Arabs fault for CHRISTIAN extremism?? That is beyond chutzpa on your part. Just so disgusting that you could inject such venom into an actually serious issue. This is EXACTLY what the Muslims in Germany just endure 3 weeks ago. 'The Islamification of Germany' now these people are aiming at us - and YOU BLAME THE ARABS. Shame on you. How shameful, so shameful. We should unite with the Arabs and Muslims against an old and frequent enemy. They aim at Arabs and Muslims to weaken us. If they dont have them they can focus on us and we will be without any allies as people like you would have successfully alienated us from OUR NEIGHBORS.
5. History repeats itself...
Ben ,   La,usa   (02.01.15)
Historically, The Nazis were responsible for the holocaust, yet Palestinians paid the price, and now that this group is rallying; Muslims are being blamed. Do the many posters on here realize that these same groups have and are attacking muslims too? The only difference in this case is that this weeks rally against Jews will be classified as an antisemetic rally. Next rally, when Muslims are the target of the rally, it will be classified as freedom of speech.
6. But It Is OK For Islamic Militants To Bomb Buses?

7. Ghettos and religious laws spell inequality.
Michael ,   California, USA   (02.01.15)
The Ultra Orthodox Jews in London can have their say in their synagogues and be guided by their own laws within synagogue walls. They can have their say in their homes, in private, if they don't bother their neighbors. Elsewhere, they should be mandated to behave by the laws of the country in which everybody is free and equal. The Ultra Orthodox fanatics certainly don't understand what free and equal means when they discriminate women. They are most objectionable when claiming they are "chosen people." If this demonstration is non-violent and sticks to the principles of equality and fairness, I support it.
8. Je suis Charlie Ebdo Juif
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (02.02.15)
Is the Streicher style Jewish character on loan from Charlie Ebdo?
9. rally against Jews of Stamford hill
Wendy Schofield ,   Leeds   (02.01.15)
I may be stupid ,but thought most Jews are white This group suggest they are not Thought being Jewish was a religion not colour of skin Many religions have people with other than white skins Many black Christians
10. Stamford Hill
Dov ,   London   (02.01.15)
The Haredi community in Stamford Hill really do keep themselves to themselves and don't bother anyone least of all secular Jews and certainly not Non-Jewish people. Since they do not have any generous handouts like the Haredim in Israel most of the men work as do many of the women and they are tax paying individuals. As a secular Jew I do often come into contact with them through work and I attend their childrens' weddings etc and show my respect. My grandparents came from this neighbourhood. I speak a fair amount of Yiddish so this warms them up a bit and rarely one of them will make a comment and try to suggest I start to keep the shabbat etc but only in a friendly joking way. These people are in the most part very warm and friendly to 'outsiders' and when I say outsiders I refer to Non-Jews or Non-haredim. It is a completely different situation as to the Haredim In Israel or America it seems. There are come problems beneath the surface betweeen different Hassidic groups and even the mainstream Satmars in Stamford Hill would never voice anti-Israel comments to me and in fact when the women are out of the room they are happy to chat in Ivrit. There has been problems with Neturai Karta particularly in Manchester and this has lead to violence but once again this is an issue within the community with Haredi on Haredi problems not involving outsiders. Neturai Karta are hated and total outcasts even by the mainstream Satmarers. In anay case this provocation is I'm sure by uneducated racists that have never worked a day in their lives and are not from the neighbourhood and as other talk-backers have alluded to they would be terrified to attack Black or Muslim targets. In spite of the apparent placidness of the Haredim in Stamford hill if they really anger them they might get a nasty shock.
11. #7 Jealous Michael, if you can't join it, fight it
(02.01.15)
Sorry but Ultra Orthodox ARE free and the only proud Jews. No women are ever discriminated against, only depressed ones feel discriminated against. Ultra Orthodox women feel as proud as ever in their role. Of course we are the Am Segulah - the Chosen Nation and we're proud of it.
12. #10 Brit haredim friendly to outsiders ?
(02.03.15)
a few years ago there was a big fuss after an English journalist wrote an article complaining about the rudeness and lack of civility of these haredim in London. When an English person goes that far to risk creating an embarrassing ''scene'' you can be sure they must have finally reached the end of their tether.

Unfortunately there are many English people who are anti-semites perhaps your journalist was one of them. The Haredim in London are like anyone else there are also rude ones. In any community you have polite people rude people rich and poor, honest and dishonest, gay and straight, hard working and lazy, friendly and unfriendly the Haredim in London are the same as any other community
