Your most hated country is "EU". You know it's not a country, right? And even if it were, I'd be a bit interested in knowing why we should hate our biggest trading partner more than countries like Iran, Syria, Lebanon and others that actively try to destroy Israel. I'm starting to think there are a number of anti-semitic trolls at Israeli sites who actively try to enlarge the rift between Israel and Europe...

Limeys drink too much beer. Check them in Amsterdam's bars for example.

About what the British think about Israel? Oh, that's not going to happen any time soon. The British are about to experience a brain drain that will exceed anything the British have ever experienced. The Jews are leaving. In droves. And then Britain will melt into the grand abyss. They had their choice to make. They chose the Arabs and the Moslems. Which is why Britain is currently overrun with the likes of Jihad John. The Jews will leave -- and then the British will have no one to blame but themselves for being overrun with Jihadist Moslems. Couldn't happen to a more deserving country. Can't wait to see ugly Kate in a burqa.

8. red herring
lori ,   London   (02.02.15)
Is this really "news" that Israel /Jews aren't popular?! Come on Ynet.when was Israel popular?! Before 1967 maybe? Jews defending themselves with a good army and refusing to die as they have for 2000 yrs was bound to be a very unpopular project! And so it is.But as the famed Abba Eban said (everyone forgets) "I'd rather be unpopular and alive - than popular and the opposite!"

Eli ,   Ashkelon, Israel   (02.02.15)
I think most Israelis, Jews and pro-Israel already knew that there are 2 types of people when it comes to Israel. There are people that hate Israel and people that love Israel, nobody is neutral when it comes to Israel.
11. British Attitudes
Claude ,   UK and Cape Town   (02.02.15)
Consider that this survey was conducted at the height of the last conflict with Hamas. And the images and press coverage were very negative towards Israel. But after the rise of ISIS, the attacks on Paris I wonder if the public hold such negative views of Israel as a permanent feature in their perceptions. Hatred of almost anything related to Islam is now endemic and far more deepseated than feelings about IL. there is an antiUS anti Global Capital feeling amongst the disaffected chattering classes of Guardian Readers, Unemployable Youths. Numerically irrelevant, but screaming abuse at IL, US is a sort of therapy when confronting their own impotence. Anecdotal evidence or evidence of public behaviour can sometimes be more informative Despite a hysterical campaign against IL, despite attempts at BDS not only has IL UK Bilateral Trade boomed, but the great British Shopper is still buying IL products in increasing volumes. China did not score too highly, but we increasingly buy their products.
12. British Dhimmitude & Media bias paid well of.
tiki ,   belgium   (02.02.15)
We knew the Brits could never forgive the Jews for throwing them out of the Holy Land but I just wonder on which place the Brits are ranked on the 'average Muslim/Arab list.
13. Severe attitude problems
Daniel   (02.02.15)
So a study finds Israel is both among the most and least liked countries. Nothing new. But what is the reaction of the extremist commentators? Is it also split? No, of course not. It only focuses on the negative. More than that, it does so in highly racist language towards Brits, even outright silly personal attacks on Kate Middleton (who like was not polled). This is repeated every single time there's an article mentioning another country, the racist commentators turn up in droves. I fully support the IDF and the IDF's actions are necessary for Israel. What is not necessary, and what definitely drive anti-Israeli feelings, are people like the extremists here. They don't represent Israel, most of them don't even live in Israel, yet they claim to speak for Israel when they are in fact only undermining Israel in every way they can.
14. # 6 Not Quite Right
Claude ,   UK and Cape Town   (02.02.15)
Jews are not leaving in droves. Jews are settling here from France in quite large numbers and so are huge numbers of French who are not Jewish. Muslims and Islam are still a small minority and in many parts of the country hardly figure at all in statistical terms. At least 50 pc of our Asian Population is not Muslim, but Hindi and they have excellent and close relations with Jews. Of course the far left exemplified by Galloway and Guardian readers make a lot of noise, but they are very very far from representing a majority view. BDS has been a spectacular failure. You are a bit harsh on Kate, after all how many American women with ample money have a clue how to dress, infact how many wear dresses. Most women in USA look like female lumberjacks and a full Niqab would be a big improvement on synthetic jogging suits.

17. inaccurate
David Silber ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (02.02.15)
This article is misleading and inaccurate. The actual report found that Israel was the third least favorite, after Russia (56% unfavourable) and N. Korea (47%) a full 35% found Israel unfavourable up from 17% in 2012), as opposed to Iran (33%, down from 45% in 2012). To put it in perspective, Israel's "unfavourable" rating in 2012 was on a par with Poland, Greece, Germany and China. But it is wrong to say the Brits also "love" us. Israel was the 9th highest rating NON-EUROPEAN country, but that positive rating was only 6% (up from 5% in 2012), which still leaves us squarely behind almost every European country (only Czech, Croatia, Turkey, Russia and Ukraine faired worse). Even arch-rival France was favoured by 18% of Brits, three times the Israeli rating. This is all bad news for Israel, especially the huge rise in "unfavoured" status from 2012 to 2014, which can only be explained by a disturbing about-face in the negative attitudes which non-Muslim Brits now hold toward Israel. I found the Chatham report at http://www.chathamhouse.org/sites/files/chathamhouse/field/field_document/20150129YouGovRaines.pdf?dm_i=1TY5,34ZC7,BHZIRQ,B8VH2,1.

21. Lori. They had to face rockets
Chad ,   Sydney   (02.03.15)
Lori, these people faced years of Hamas rocket fire. 8000 rockets fired over 5 years. Not funny. That's why they reacted that way, but there only a few of them, yet you blame the whole country
22. # 19 split and you represent ISIS?
BUILD BABY BUILD!!   (02.03.15)
Thank G-d Israel was promised for the Chosen AKA Jews. Look what they've done in a minute space with limited assets and compare that to the poverty, ignorance, brutality of Muslims against Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindu's and they have oodles of cash and a minimum of brains. LONG LIVE CHOSEN ISRAEL.!!!
