Netanyahu was at least against the Gaza withdrawal which would have made it hard to build tunnels and get rockets .after the arabs voted Hamas 2/3 of and the Iranian HOLOCAUST denial the Jews in Israel more doubted peace .

No matter how brutally Israel oppresses the people of Gaza, the will continue to build up their resistance. In reality, there is nothing any Israeli PM can do about Gaza except stop the blockade and build up a viable economy and society in Gaza. In other words, more oppression is counterproductive.

What Diskin said about Yassin was a half truth, which becomes a lie. Of course Yassin was released. Why? is the question. The answer is to release two Mossad agents who failed in killing Mashal in Jordan and were caught. What should have Israel have done?
