Some of his band members were in drugs, besides that they were not Margaret Tatcher fans. The Beatles were considered the most succesfull rock & roll band of the tweentieth century because they sold more than 600 millions records worldwide. But Roger Waters band wasnt that lucky. Maybe was his attitude, can you imagine? Who would listen to someone that said decades ago in a stupid song That you dont need education? eh? Im not saying he is a fool, but whats my opinion compared to that of thousands of jews entrepreneurs who were and are well educated and reach success eh? Anyhow, his band sold some 20 millions units in US and UK, so to tell you he boycott schools and teachers decades ago through his songs it would be perceive as giving to his mediocrity to much impotance, what he thinks doesnt matter. This comes just at the time when attacks in France and Denmark have resulted in some serious commentary , certainly in the UK Press At last there is the beginning of a backlash against the demagoguery of the likes of Galloway, the absurd and outrageous attacks on Israel and its right to exist. Europe awakes from its comfortable slumber which has allowed it to sleepwalk into a fascistic alliance between a largely irrelevant far left and the hysteria of the Islamists. These so called artists are unlikely to receive much support outside a small, declining group of Guardian Readers. I suggest all public funding for individuals or arts bodies that support a boycott of Israel should be withheld. It is certainly something parliament may consider. Trade Unions make a great cry about BDS, but we need to remember that in last 10 years their membership base has massively declined.

To all of you..you do your cause no favours by singling out one nasty country and not all of the others. You are opening yourselves up to accusations re: your possible anti semitism rather than political activitism by your singling out of Israel. Try also boycotting Saudi Arabia, China,North Korea, and on and on and someone may take your quest seriously. Otherwise you look like complete fools.
