1. Ought be first past the Post
Zechariah   (02.16.15)
Ought to be divided into regions and first past the post just have two parties and the Arab United list with a decade of National Unity till they change the System again
2. Bibi's potential government of Haredi fanatics
avramele   (02.16.15)
67 mandates that are potentially in Bibi's corner include 29 candidates from parties controlled or influnced by the haredi establishments and historically openly non-zionist. Not only would his government be the most right wing in history but the most antagonistic to liberal democracy and secular freedoms. start praying ( it may become mandatory anyway.)
3. #2 dont worry
Larry ,   LA (formerly)   (02.17.15)
We have had the religious extremists in the government many times before and no liberal lost his liberties. The ultra orthodox only are there to get money for their pet projects but don't get involved in anti-liberal legislation what can not be said about the liberal left who wishes to give away most of the Land of Israel to our enemies.
4. HALF of Israel is crazy!!!!!!!!!
Dubi   (02.16.15)
The secular anti-Jewish half.
5. 1
zionist forever   (02.17.15)
I agree to first past the post but I would like to see 3 parties so there is real choice but not to much choice. Three mainstream parties that represent everybody and not specialist groups like arabs, religious, nationalists etc way they do in all other countries. The arabs can either join a manistream party or form their own specialist arab party but to gain power they need to have enough seats to win an election outright

Brian ,   London   (02.16.15)
Yes indeed they are the zionists as they are trying to hold on to Israel as a Jewish majority country by separating from the Palestinians. Versus the rightists who have dug their heads in the sand and are steering israel towards a one state solution with an eventual Arab majority, engaging in apartheid like practises
7. #2 you are so right
(02.17.15)
You are right that Haredi fanatics ruined this country. Without the Haredim, Rabin could never have passed Oslo, Barak could never have surrendered to Arafat and Olmert could never have ethnically cleansed Gush Katif. The problem is that there is no other option: in the last government, Netanyahu had a coalition without Haredim, but at the end Livni and Lapid tried to replace him with Shas. In the coming elections, it is clear Labor party will need Haredim to form a coalition, which is why Herzog promised he would cancel the Haredi draft. That is why it is best that everyone vote Likud.
8. Give Tzipi Livni The Boot
joyce fraser ,   USA   (02.18.15)
Zip It Leftny: Your naivete is somewhere between absolutely and very certain, toward facilitating Israel's enemies' wishes to destroy Israel and murder all of the Jewish Minority People. You, Tziporah Livni, must be saved from yourself, as you are indeed a traitorous internal enemy of Israel and the Jews of the World, who deserve better than your egoistic political ambitions!
9. Conservatives vs Obama Leftists
Brod ,   USA   (02.18.15)
The Conservatives should counter attack the Obama Leftists who have been firing their salvos of venom at the Conservatives relentlessly.
