So you think Europe is somehow going to be sympathetic to Jews now? Oh yes, and by all means avoid speaking the truth about all of the terrorism that Israel lives with from the hands of muslims. Let us be less confrontational and have some more kool-aid together.

Mr Prevner is engaging in wishful thinking if he thinks the EU will have anything to do with Israel while the latter remains in occupation of the Palestinian Territories. The truth is that few EU governments see Israel as belonging to the family of liberal democracies any more, and many EU citizens see Israeli policies as an unhelpful provocation of their already alienated Moslem minority. Mr Pevner should remember that 'the rule of law' and respect for private property are bedrock values in the EU treaties. If the Israelis wish to plead common values, they should start practice sing them.
