Outrageously overpriced hotel rooms, dirty beaches, cafeteria-quality food, rude employees... I could go on and on. Why would anyone from North America go to Eilat when the beautiful Caribbean is only a few hours away? If Israel wants tourists, then act like it. There are lots of places to go on this planet. Make it worth our while. Jet fuel prices are half what they were last year- yet a summer ticket to Israel will still be highway robbery. Do something about it. Or can you only whine about it?

-customer service should improve -hotel rates will decrease. then you will see more tourists. Im sticking with Costa Rica for now
