1. They don't pay taxes so why should they expect services?
David ,   Hartford USA   (02.25.15)
If you don't pay into the system via your taxes, why should the rest of Israel have to make up for it? You want better roads, schools, sanitation, etc., then pay your taxes. If you want your kids to get jobs, why do you encourage them to tangle with the police? In the USA, a teenager throwing stones at police risks the chance of getting shot and will certainly be arrested. Where are the parents? Why don't they pay their taxes and control their kids? The Arabs have willingly put themselves in this situation by listening to the PA-sponsored demonization of Israel. Change has to come from the Arabs. Unfortunately, more Arabs are cheering on ISIS every day. Arabs need to throw Abbas into the ocean and simply behave like civilized people- going to work, raising a family with love, and paying your taxes like everyone else. A lot can happen when you decide to get along with your neighbor. Random acts of terrorism are not the way to win your argument.

4. To: No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.25.15)
If conditions are as dreadful as you imply, why aren't Arabs leaving Israel in droves? There are consequences to starting -- and losing -- wars. The Arabs are not exempt from those consequences. If they don't like it, they are free to leave at any time. No one is compelling them to stay.

Between 2008 & 2010, approx 4.500 Palestinian residents in E Jerusalem applied for Israeli citizenship, oh which 1/3 were accepted, 1/3 rejected & 1/3 had the decision postponed. As residents, E Jerusalemites without Israeli citizenship have the right to vote in municipal elections & play a role in the administration of the city. Residents pay taxes & following a1988 Israeli Supreme Court ruling, E Jerusalem residents are guarenteed the right to social security benefits & state health care.
