1. Bibi needs to seek counceling
sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (03.01.15)
Bibi is an idiot. He should of stayed home and made his point from there. He should of contacted the Europeans, Russians and Chinese to make his point, but he did nothing except antagonize the POTUS and the democrats and a good percentage of the American public that really gave a wet turd about the middle east. It is obvious this was an election ploy to divert attention away from outrageous housing prices, basic prices and mind boggling taxes that exceed 100% in some cases such as cars and gasoline. This man needs to be shown the door come election time.
2. In the end, this will benefit Israel
Vlad   (03.01.15)
Obama's arms embargo during the Gaza War made Israel transfer some of its important weapons production from the US to Israel. Hopefully, any US punishment will serve to make Israel more self-reliant. The only thing really concerning is the loss of the veto. Israel could try to use what leverage it has with Russia (major food supplier thanks to its self-imposed food embargo on the West) or China (major hi-tech partner) to get them to at least consider a veto in Israel's favor, or just withdraw from the UN altogether.
3. Doomsday Scenario
Joe ,   Israel   (03.01.15)
If the writer is correct, March 3 will go done in history as the beginning of Doomsday. If she is wrong, March 3 will be remembered as the day Bibi adressed the Congress for the third time. Nothing more and nothing less.
4. This is only the 100th parrot to churp
michael   (03.01.15)
the sky is falling. I wish you had as much concern aboout the nukes Iran is building.
5. Netanyahu a big lier ascrew us all ,spent millions of
jose ,   RAANANA ISRAEL   (03.01.15)
shekels insteadof taking care of the needy people did not care the housing crisis, screw the middle social class, rose the taxes, destroyed the country economy !!! to hell with him!!! now he keeps taking care his own ass!!!!
6. Scare tactics - Israel's support in Congress is solid
Scott ,   Ramat Gan   (03.01.15)
Any attempt by Obama to reduce aid to Israel will be overridden by Congress. Preventing a bad Iran deal is even worth sacrificing all US aid, but this will not happen.
7. No! Not U.S.rage. Rather reactions ...
Gideon Reader ,   USA   (03.01.15)
of pique and petulance. Stamping of one's tootsies, glaring and dispatching juvenile aides to kvetch etc. How very (as a recent resident of the White House would say) Jay Vee.
8. #6 - Congress can't even fund DHS.
spyguy ,   seattle usa   (03.01.15)
If Obama veto spending for Israel, that is the end because congress is so splintered it can't pass anything.
9. #2 - While Israel could withdraw from the UN, it would be
spyguy ,   seattle usa   (03.01.15)
shooting itself in the foot. As for getting help from Russia or China, it is NOT going to happen. Neither country cares one bit about what happens to Israel and in fact want closer relations with the Arabs because of resources. Once Israel loses the USA, it is on its own - Israel against the entire world. 7 million people against 7 billion people - guess who will win?
10. @ 6 Blame Bonehead Bibi
sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (03.01.15)
Bibi can scuttle the deal with one little order. He can launch a military strike on Iran and be done with it, but that won't happen because he is a chicken shit. The deal will be signed whether he likes it or not. He can scream and yell, hell, he can even talk to congress if that floats his boat, but at the end of the day there will be an agreement because he is doing more damage than good. The POTUS has to sign the deal under any circumstances because bonehead Bibi will make him look foolish and weak if he doesn't sign the deal. So this is why this is a re-election ploy to divert attention from crappy small housing at mind boggling prices and 100% taxes on basic goods such as fuel and cars and double the cost of food stuffs as in the western world.
11. Big Distinction
Jason, Ph.D. ,   Charlotte, USA   (03.01.15)
There is a big distinction between Obama rage and U.S. rage. Sadly, Obama has become an impediment to U.S. national security. Thankfully, he becomes more of a lame duck each day. Israel enjoys strong bipartisan support in the U.S. and there is only so much that Obama can do.
12. Rage when speech will be a success
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (03.01.15)
It's worth .
13. "American" Rage = Obama Rage
Rob Lee ,   NY USA   (03.01.15)
This has nothing to do with the American people & congress which supports Istael. Obama Democrats are Far-Left and hate Israel anyways.
14. @8
(03.01.15)
Israel will win.
15. washington visit
Doc ,   cape town   (03.01.15)
truth be told the White House has never hid its dislike for Netanyahu AND israel. If it's a case of revenge because of the visit then the white house is just showing its true colors to former allies... Telling them ..Your time has gone .. So this applies to Saudi, Egypt, Jordan, as well. Watch your backs ...the usa hasn't got your back. Iran is the new kid on the block I'm afraid.
16. Asking for US meney, stealing the palestinian money and mor.
Why!   (03.01.15)
17. Spy Guy ... Israel will never be alone.
J Galt ,   Hidden Valley   (03.01.15)
Israel is the Chosen People of the only and true G-d. He will always be with Israel. They will win. USA turning against G-d's people will only bring His wrath on the USA.
18. Artical a bit severe
Ron ,   oc us   (03.01.15)
Yes Bibi has done some temporary damage. And, only America can deal with Iran, not Israel. But, when it comes to defensive weapons the US will step up. It is when Israel needs offensive weapons that I am concerned with.
19. Security of Israel is Non Partisan
Zechariah   (03.01.15)
The Security of Israel ought be non partisan .More weapons for Israel enables a Settlement slowdown giving more peaceful Palestinians a chance .with cities such as Rawabi .State of the art cities with freer speech who needs Syrian Ba'ath Torturers as Leaders or Isis Blood Cult Warlords .Have to be crazy .They kill their Own Arabic People's with Chlorine gases and Merciless attacks on Civilians .
20. Bibi's Visit......
Uzuck Mehoff ,   NY US   (03.01.15)
After the reign of the incompetent Obummer, we will have a solid Republican representation. No bowing to Obama for any reason...The Dem's will have a hard time getting elected to clean sewers. Then, Bibi will not need to speak to Congress or the Senate, as he will have a majority of support!
21. American can no longer
J Galt ,   Hidden Valley, USA   (03.01.15)
deal with anyone. The last six years have made the USA the non-reliable, weakened laughing stock of the world. The USA's final death rattle will come not long after it turns its back totally on Israel. Israel has always faced impossible odds. But, Israel is G-d's chosen people, the apple of G-d's eye. In the end Israel will win; because G-d will save them.
22. no orly, you are wrong!
oded ,   usa   (03.01.15)
obama is a paper tiger in many ways and needs congress to foot several bills he is interested in funding and [assing. the iran deal will need congress approval, and obama is facing some serious difficulties in that regards. this hostile administration ,full of academics and light weight wannabees, will be dusted off to histry's can, but israel needs a leader like bibbi to maitain its security. obama's rage? pleeease.....
23. US rage
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (03.01.15)
The Great Pretender in the White House will be history in two years, so don't worry about his "rage".
24. Agreed, #18
Cameron ,   USA   (03.01.15)
Our interests and agendas are simply too mutual for any "US rage" to have any profound, divisive altering upon the alliance, particularly in times such as these. Still, Israelis can certainly look forward to being thoroughly penalized by the Obama crew for the Net visit, and this 300+ million dollar request will be both delayed and reduced. That is simply to be expected.
25. 9 Israel will win with G-D's help
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (03.02.15)
26. Obama's Pique - Not U.S. Wrath
CaptainDoctor ,   Miami, Florida   (03.02.15)
So Obama doesn't need Congress' approval? He just signs the "agreement" and this author is convinced it will bind the USA. Will be the first and only President with that power. Agreements proposed and negotiated under the auspices of a U.S. President only become treaties, i.e., binding upon the U.S., after the advice and consent of the U.S. Senate is obtained, as per the U.S. Constitution that Mr. Obama is so wont to disregard when it gets in his way.
27. racism
(03.02.15)
Rage is the word Leftists use to excuse the behavior of primitives who can't control themselves: "the (some third world country) were enraged because of some imagined insult so they murdered so and so many people" For Azoulay to imply that President Obama is a primitive who gets "enraged" is the worst kind of racism.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.02.15)
The problem is that the Obama administration neither respects nor appreciates the American relationship with the State of Israel. Or, he's too busy following his private agenda, which has already proven disastrous on an international scale, let alone for Americans. Besides, the unique relationship between Israel and the United States rests with the American people, not with an inept has-been who happens to occupy the White House. Obama can delay as much as he likes; he does not control the purse strings, Congress does. And while a handful of disgruntled has-beens or retard Democrats will boycott Netanyahu's speech, the overwhelming majority of members of the Congress will be there in force. As will all nine United States Supreme Court justices. They need to be there. They have a docket heavy with lawsuits against terrorists and terrorist agents. They'll want to hear all about Iran's state sponsorship of terror, especially since they aren't getting facts from the United States government. Do you remember, Cameron, when an outraged Ronald Reagan, spurred on by George Bush Sr., held up a shipment of F-16s to Israel because of their outrage over Israel's bombing of Iraq's "peaceful purposes" nuclear reactor? Israel took the hit, took the sanctions; Israel survived. A few years later, of course, the United States found itself embroiled in a Gulf War against Iraq. It would have been quite a different war, don't you agree, had Israel not destroyed Iraq's reactor. Israel also destroyed the nuclear reactor in Syria. Given the way events in Syria have rolled, don't you agree that's a good thing? Then why won't Obama listen to us when it comes to Iran? That's why Prime Minister Netanyahu needs to address the Joint Houses of Congress and the people of the United States. They need to know what's going on, and they need to know that their own commander-in-chief is lying to them. (Sound familiar? Can you spell Benghazi?) So, what does Obama look like? A churlish teenager who stays home because he wasn't named prom king. The important people will all be in attendance. Whatever Obama chooses to do, it will look like schoolyard revenge. Can we get a mature president, please? And given the breakneck speed at which Obama is determined to effect rapprochement with Iran -- which the American people very emphatically do not -- there are a lot of people who want to hear Prime Minister Netanyahu speak. They are tired of White House dissembling and White House lies. If that embarrasses a sitting president of the United States, so be it. Obama made his bed; he has to lie in it. And while $317 million is helpful, it isn't critical. Israel is, after all, a nuclear power. Do you for a single, solitary moment doubt that we would hesitate to put that into play if need be?

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.02.15)
What "resources" does the Arab world have to offer? Petroleum is going the way of the woolly mammoth. It's all about liquefied natural gas now. LNG is to the 21st century what petroleum was to the 20th. Guess which country controls the two largest natural gas fields ever discovered? By the way -- Russia and China are old news. The wave of the future is India. Japan. Singapore. Israel against almost the entire world? Frankly, sluggo, I like the odds.

Hi   (03.03.15)
In 2 years this president will be out of the office but the US-Israel friendship will still be around.
