It is 100% impossible to stop Iran from using nuclear technology. The ONLY thing that can be done is minimize Iran's ability to make nuclear weapons through rigorous inspections that Iran agrees to. Existing third-party sanctions are disappearing and there is NOTHING the USA congress can do about it and there is ZERO chance of any additional third-party sanctions. Russia, China, Asia and Europe will simply not allow it. As for bombing Iran, that will FAIL miserably, isolating the USA and Israel and ensuring Iran gets nuclear weapons. The BOTTOM LINE is the P5+1 is getting the best deal it can and Israel is just going to have to suck it up and live with it. Those that advocate war with Iran are just flat out delusional.

(4) there are no further possible USA direct sanctions on Iran. All that were possible were put in place in1979. Not only are no further third-party sanctions possible, but the existing third-party sanctions are going away and the USA has no way to prevent it. The bottom line is the ONLY options are (a) ignore Iran and let it do whatever it wants (b) negotiate reasonable agreement (c) start a war with Iran that the USA and Israel will LOSE. There are NO OTHER OPTIONS, so which do you choose?

As Rice pointed out, there is NOTHING Israel or the USA can do to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons if they desire.
