1. Netanyahu would make a great President of the USA
Al   (03.03.15)
In Israel he is not appreciated. Most Israelis don't realize that he is probably one of your greatest PMs. I may not agree with him as far as Israel's security is concerned. I think he has cow toed to Obama way too much. Overall he is the best candidate for the job of PM OF ISRAEL. HE DESERVES TO BE RE-ELECTED.
2. The drums of war
Haider ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (03.03.15)
I feel sorry for Israel for having this man to represent its people
3. PM Netanyahu
Kenneth Kraft ,   Burlington, NC, USA   (03.03.15)
It is painful to se the PM address our Congress to to rail against the President of the United States. There was NO Bipartisan invitation. The invitation, passed surreptitiously behind the President's back was from the "Clown Party" - Boehner, the worst Speaker in decades, the party of Palin, Gohmert, Cruz, Steve King, Farenthold (Yeah the guy who ran an "off color" website even after he was elected). I would never have believed that Mr. Netanyahu would have stooped so low as to slink into the country in an extraordinary insult to the President, the Office he holds, and to the American people. He must be running scared about the upcoming election and is grasping at any available straw regardless of the political costs.Lets not forget that the PM repeatedly urged george bush to invade Iraq and get rid of Sadaam Hussein. This he said would a positive transformative impact on the whole region. Right! It was transformative alright bur in all the wrong directions. Now he wants us to fight another war on his behalf!. Go home "Bibi" and spew your fairy tales to someone else. Perhaps you, John McCain, and Lindsay Graham can grab your gear and weapons and lead the charge to "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb .....Bomb, Bomb Iran.
4. Kenneth Kraft
Tam Highpoint ,   USA   (03.03.15)
Kenny, You don't speak for the majority of Americans and you broke the most important rule of criticism; you overstated your case! It is people like you that should not be allowed to vote until you pass a civility test.
5. Obama WAS told of invite before Bibi accepted....
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego, USA   (03.03.15)
...and voiced no objections to either Boehner or Netanyahu. The NYT just sheepishly disclosed this in a correction to a recent article they published. Obama went on his tirade only AFTER Bibi accepted the invite. It was all an Obama stunt, another of his Big Lie propaganda schemes. The New York Times knew this from the start. What is the purpose of a free press if it doesn't do its job.
6. A Brilliant Speech
Rabbi Yakov Lazaros ,   USA   (03.03.15)
I listened to the speech live and am glad I did. It was brilliant and to the point. " No deal is better that a bad deal." " They will walk away but come back because they need the deal more than you do." I hope and predict that Netanyahu will win the Israeli elections by a landslide.
7. Comments in The New York Times r 10:1 critical of the speech
Michael ,   California, USA   (03.03.15)
8. #1 - AL
HRK   (03.03.15)
NOOOOOOOOOOO, he will not be re-elected. I you want him, and his lady, keep him in the States and vote for him as YOUR Prime Minister or President, whatever..
9. Speech
Fred Flintsone ,   USA   (03.03.15)
Great speech. I'm still scratching my head why anyone would want to shut BB up, unless they thought this was a bad deal. Whoever didn't attend this great speech will certainly look foolish. Just like the Jews in my community who voted for Obama.
10. old stuff
ramallah   (03.03.15)
nothing New
11. bibi is right
Shira ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (03.03.15)
and it is not Bibi's job to provide alternatives, he is'nt on obamas' salary, he isn't being paid by obama
12. Haider, #2, I feel sorry for the people of Gothenburg.
Jake   (03.04.15)

13. #7, NYT has been a joke for decades and clueless as you are

14. Hollywood
Me ,   Paris   (03.04.15)
Never expected the congressmen and congresswomen so silly , that was very Hollywoodish scene
15. Response
Kenneth Kraft ,   Burlington, NC, USA   (03.04.15)
Tammie, I don't claim to represent anyone but myself. With regard to my overstated case and lack of civility - you must be joking. The PM violated every ethical, professional, and civil "rule" by using the Tea Party republicans to attack our President and the intelligence of every American. Prime reason for his visit is the upcoming election in Israel. The PM was originally "invited" to speak weeks ago - he delayed it so that it may impact the election. The PM does not deserve my civility. If President Obama was invited to speak to the Knesset in opposition to the PM he would of course decline. He has Presidential class and respect for Israel. The PM doesn't.
16. This fuss is unnecessary - I Quote -
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (03.04.15)
Netanyahu suggested that Israel would no longer wait for the US or the international community's permission to act in its best interests. "Even if Israel stands alone - Israel will stand," he said Comment - The US and the rest of the World are free to make any deal with Iran. And Israel is Free to act alone. And everybody should be Happy about that. I Think times isapproaching, when HASHEM will show who is the Leader of thr Free World, albait big opposition. Israel Forevet !. Arn.Sweden.
