Any one remember the USS Liberty? Netanyahu's alternative is to bargain from a position of strength. I heard the ranking member of the armed services committee say that Iran said destroying the centrifuges is a non starter. Another words, let Iran dictate the terms. If Iran walks away, even with heavy sanctions, it means they don't need the deal. If they don't need it we have no leverage and will not get a good deal. We are in the position of strength. Sanctions can cripple them. Not demanding the obvious, that they destroy their nuclear capacity, is a weak position that lets them have what they want. Why do that? What does it accomplish? Netanyahu laid it out, they will cheat, they will wait, and without sanctions, they will end up with a nuclear weapon. They are making intercontinental ballistic missiles, which only make sense to deliver a nuclear payload. What is wrong with Obama? Why does he not see this or refuse to see this?

The deal Netanyahu wants is for Iran to completely give up all nuclear activties including those for civilian use. Those rights are held by dozens of nations under the NPT signed by Iran.
