1. Netanyahu speech
Carolyn Lainhart ,   Erlanger, KY USA   (03.03.15)
I am in my 70's, I have always and will always love and support Israel....However, Netanyahu lost an admirer by playing Speaker Boehners political game.....Is Netanyahu also going the the other counties involved in the Iranian talks and speak to their Parliments by passing their President or Prime Ministers....I do not think there will be a world leader that will trust Netanyahu after this political ploy.... My good wishes to the people of Israel...I continue to pray for your safety and prosperity...
2. Carolyn. Netanyahu was invited he could not reject that ...
Ari   (03.03.15)
Invitation. The first thing he said was he gives thanks to the president. He did not go to challenge the president he went to point out the danger Israel faces. Many times he told Obama his opposition, and Obama brush him off. Besides Obama held secret talks with Iran without notifying Israel for more than a year. Israel deserves respect also. You know how many times Obama scorned Netanyahu publicly? He snub him at the white house because he had a lunch with his wife. Is that Protocol? That was humiliating.
3. Netanyahu clearly said the alternative to a bad deal...
Jake   (03.03.15)
...is NOT war, but a better deal. And he described in quite clear terms what a better deal would look like. Obama's response clearly shows that he's jealous, at having been 'upstaged', hence the complaining.
4. Netanyahu Speech
Frank Goddard ,   Kenmore, WA   (03.03.15)
Nancy Pelosi does not speak for real America. She only talks for a biased and unpopular government. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a hero to the free world.
5. #1 Carolyn,
DavidR ,   USA   (03.03.15)
Your thinking is extremely shallow. I believe also that Bibi will do just fine without your respect. I believe Netanyahu will be receive much greater respect from leaders throughout the world except for islamic leaders who,s respect he can do without. Think about this. If Bibi is right and his warnings are not heeded, then, how will you feel if a nuke is sent to Jerusalem killing millions of innocents. Quit calling evil good and good evil for your own souls sake.
6. #1 paid political stooge .....
Al   (03.03.15)
Quite obvious in your comment. Keep it to a minimum...you are way too obvious. The comments section in all Israeli political forums are being pegged and trolled by Obamas paid political corps.
7. What a terrible negotiator Obama is!
Matt C ,   Canada   (03.03.15)
Going into negotiations with an attitude like that, that there is no "viable alternative" to finding a deal that Iran will accept, is the absolute worst approach Obama could have taken. No wonder the Iranians are taking advantage, Obama is practically inviting them to.
8. Obama has an even less viable solution for Iran
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.03.15)
Obama is the Master of double speak and like a good Muslim he is going berserk when someone contradicts him.
9. from the responses to the speech
michael   (03.03.15)
there is a severe lack of leadership both in the United States and among certain MKs running for the Prime Minister's office. I guess Humanity is doomed to repeat historical mistakes. G-d help us
10. Pelosi and Ben-Ami
Rabbi Yakov Lazaros ,   USA   (03.03.15)
Nancy Pelosi was just being loyal to her boss Obama. Jeremy Ben-Ami was being loyal to George Sorros and the other Israel haters who fund J Street. The reality is that it was a great speech.
11. As a vet
Jim ,   N. Carolina   (03.03.15)
As a Veteran and a Patriot the following has become pain fully clear over the last month 1- Israel is hateful, unappreciative for all that has been done for them and major threat to world peace. 2- More importantly AIPAC is a fifth column set to destroy what remains of our nation from within. I have always believed in Israel's right to exist but if putting my nation first makes you want to call me an anti-Semite I'll wear your words with pride.
12. Netanyahu hit the nail on the head
David ,   New york   (03.03.15)
The Obama deal is going to hand Iran an arsenal of nuclear bombs. What is needed is to tighten sanctions and weaken Iran.
13. JVC: "Saddened that Pelosi continues to draw air."
JVC ,   LA, USA   (03.03.15)
14. #11, This vet saw combat... my guess is you pushed paper.
JVC ,   LA, USA   (03.03.15)
And if, by some miracle, your MOS involved trigger time, then you're overdue for some VA therapy. Get some.
15. Once again
Jane ,   U.S.A   (03.03.15)
Again, as it had been during his Sept 2012 UN speech in NY, Netanyahu's obsession & paranoia with Iran contains a lot of colorful imaginations, like pieces of uneven mosaic tiles, glued together, to devastate & blind his audience! He's certainly a cunning convoluted liar! Just as Israel's former Mossad agent has already warned us, Beware of Netanyahu's false Iran intelligence claim! Let's challenge Netanyahu & John Boehner to go make this 'better deal' with Iran. All talk & no action is merely a fool's dream!
16. Remember
Robert Downing ,   Miami, Florida   (03.03.15)
Any one remember the USS Liberty? Anyone remember the 34 crew members who were killed and the 171 crew members who were wounded by 30-mm cannons and rockets fired from a Israeli fighter jet and by torpedo's from a Israeli torpedo boats. I would not trust Israel any more than I would trust Iran!!! In fact, it sounded like Netanyahu wants to get us into a war with Iran! Who knows where something like that would lead!!! Netanyahu always has been a radical.
17. Netanyahu's viable alternative
Rex ,   Los Angeles USA   (03.04.15)
Netanyahu's alternative is to bargain from a position of strength. I heard the ranking member of the armed services committee say that Iran said destroying the centrifuges is a non starter. Another words, let Iran dictate the terms. If Iran walks away, even with heavy sanctions, it means they don't need the deal. If they don't need it we have no leverage and will not get a good deal. We are in the position of strength. Sanctions can cripple them. Not demanding the obvious, that they destroy their nuclear capacity, is a weak position that lets them have what they want. Why do that? What does it accomplish? Netanyahu laid it out, they will cheat, they will wait, and without sanctions, they will end up with a nuclear weapon. They are making intercontinental ballistic missiles, which only make sense to deliver a nuclear payload. What is wrong with Obama? Why does he not see this or refuse to see this?
18. Israels prime ministers speech .
Val Hernandez ,   Montclair , USA   (03.04.15)
Iran claims Americas the great Satan an wants to anialate Israel from this earth " what are we doing trying to make a deal with them , Obama has all you people fooled , he tricked you in to voting for him didn't he ! Wake up '
19. Netanyahu's alternative
jdledell ,   New Jersey, USA   (03.04.15)
The deal Netanyahu wants is for Iran to completely give up all nuclear activties including those for civilian use. Those rights are held by dozens of nations under the NPT signed by Iran. Bibi wants Iran to completely capitulate. That is not going to happen in a million years - Bibi is being totally unrealistic. If Iran refuses Netanyahu's deal what is the alternative? More sanctions? Watch most of the rest of the world refuse to go along with the US and Israel on sanctions. So then, the only alternative is war. Will the IDF send it's troops to fight Iran? If Israel thought Hezballah was tough on it's home turf wait until you fight Iran on it's home turf.
20. Jim #11
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (03.03.15)
With stupid comments like that you have never been a friend. Your president is a terrorist supporting war monger that has invaded and bombed a dozen countries. He lashes out anybody that disagrees with him. Unappreciative - compared to whom? As for AIPAC - it is an AMERICAN organization exercises their Constitutional 1st Amendment Right - and you oppose that? Considering that your president has violated the Constitution on a daily basis. Is there any other American group you want to prevent from acting on their rights? Bet not. No you are not smart enough for most anti-Semites
21. # 5 and Netenyaho
Al ,   USA   (03.04.15)
Netenyaho is despised in every corner of the world and not just by the Moslem countries. Read what leaders think of him in Berlin, London and Paris. He safe havens are limited to th us congress. Canada and The Marshall Islands. Cheers for #1.
22. Insult your intelligence?
Koose E Mack ,   NY US   (03.04.15)
Most people in the know say that Ms Pellosi has no intelligence to insult!
23. Kerry is visiting Saudi at this moment...
Phaque Ucherkoff ,   NY US   (03.04.15)
Bibi should go there also to give a speech. Oh wait, the Saudi's already know the dangers of a Nuclear armed Iran. Too bad the Dem's aren't as smart as the Saudis!
24. Speech
Akbar Palace ,   USA   (03.04.15)
Netanyahu was courteous, grateful and appreciative of the USA. He gave his recommendations clearly: walk away and call Iran's bluff. He ended his speech blessing the USA. In response (some) democrats got in bed with a few measly anti-semites like "the Vet" on this website to describe a speech that never happened. Total, disdain for a true diplomat. Wish the US had a statesman in the Whitehouse like BB.
25. what ek
ralph   (03.04.15)
26. obviously was over his head. incompetent leader
ralph   (03.04.15)
27. read it again. you do have a university degree, right
ralph   (03.04.15)
28. #16 Poor Robert is afraid of Israel
Benji ,   US   (03.04.15)
Like Obama, he can't face radical Islam. He'd rather cite a 48 year old incident that occurred in 1967 when Israel was under attack and did not recognize signals from the US vessel. Investigators deemed this an accident and Israel paid compensation. Iran poses a current threat to the US and Robert's lame example reflects limited knowledge of the situation at hand.
29. Netanyahu speech
Hank Bulas ,   Nashville USA   (03.04.15)
As a hardcore supporter of Israel since 1967, Netanyahu has accomplished something I wouldn't have thought possible: lessened my support for Israel. I do not put the interests of Israel above those of my country. I do not wish to see the USA dragged into another Middle Eastern fiasco. Bibi seems willing to fight to the last American soldier.
30. bb
Simon Marriott ,   ישראל   (03.04.15)
Great so centrist bb made the speech, but what has he achieved? Do we have any better idea of what should be done about Iran? 25 years bb has been harping on about Iran with good reason but enough of the talk. Sadly it is too late for action. Being a coward bb was never able to bring himself to bomb the nuclear facilities in Iran. So what does he want for the US to do it for him and spill American blood? bb time to go and bring in a real rightwing government.
