Diskin is right that Iran increased its nuclear abilities, but blaming Netanyahu is just crazy. When Obama was elected, Netanyahu could have had a Zionist government and worked alone to stop Iran, but instead chose to work with Obama. That choice meant giving failures like Barak and Livni power, and making concessions to Abbas and Obama like the freeze on Jewish building. 6 years later it is clear that Netanyahu's decision to work together with Obama was a mistake. Obama helped Iran develop nukes, Obama prevented Israeli military action, and all the concessions to Obama did not help: he still hates Netanyahu and he supported Hamas' during the last war. The problem is that Diskin supported each and every one of Netanyahu's mistakes.

First there were Diskin's and Dagan's attacks about Nethanyahu's so called rethoric on Irans's nuclear issue. Now, after the IAEA said that Iran is continuing to stall parts of an investigation (see Ynet Mideast article 24.02.2015)... Diskin saids now that it's Netanyahu's failure that etc, etc.... see article above. I don't want to write more about it but I start more and more to be convinced that the decision not to make Diskin Director of the Mossad was the correct decision. Also about Dagan's opinion on that matter I have a lot of doubts.

Don't blame the PM. Blame Obama for sabotaging Israel's defense, and enabling the Ayatollahists to accelerate the past 6 years. The PM should now put on Begin's hat to defend Israel from the Ayatollahist existential threat. Begin's hat will prevail against any external interferences.

Correlation and causality. Netanyahu was PM, and Iran's nuclear project advanced. If there's something Netanyahu did or did not do that advanced that project, Diskin needs to say. And if there's something Netanyahu *should* have done, or an approach that should have been pursued, Diskin needs to tell us. Otherwise, his criticism is only self-serving and arrogant.

About Iran's nuclear program, all we get are contradictory pieces of information. Once Bibi (that I don't want as next PM) wanted to attack Iranian nuclear facilities, but was stopped by top intelligence and military officers, in another occasion it's the US who threatened to shot down IAF planes en route to Iran. Another time it is pale blue hued hair's fault if Iran's insane leaders accelerate uranium production, spurred by his lack of action and loud talks. Bibi for bad that he could be is not the only factor in the equation, G5 lack of decision, US stubborned will to close a deal with Iran no matter what, even behind other G5 back, sanctions who could push Iran to "end" the process and who knows what more. I agree that Bibi is an ineffectual leader, whose only concern is his personal power as PM. During the last Gaza operation (war?) he lacked the guts to end Hamas's rule squandering the unique window of opportunity offered by international support and Hamas being cut off from its last patron, Iran.
