They want Congress to have its rightful say. They do not want a deal that's a deal for the sale of a deal. They want a deal that might actually hold Iran's fee to the fire. They have learned, as perhaps many of President Obama's supporters have not, that the choice is not between a crappy deal or WAR. The choice is between a meaningful deal or none. We haven't come close to calling Iran's bluff.

6 years ago, Obama was given the Nobel Peace Prize because he would usher in a nuclear free age. Now, his lackeys are demanding voiding the NPT and giving nukes out like peanuts to avoid war.

Obama will be President until February 2017. Iran will have nukes by then and won't really care what the next President does.

The way to have a real war is to sign an agreement with Iran that lifts their sanctions and let's them proceed unimpeded to produce a nuclear arsenal. This would be a catastrophe beyond comprehension. It would be far worse than not signing an agreement (of course, this may be a little hard for #2 to comprehend)

What the congress critters want is not possible. Once the USA walks away, most of the third-party sanctions will disappear and the situation with Iran will be similar to the USA situation with Cuba. That is, the USA will have accomplished NOTHING. Once the congress critters blow up the deal, what other options does the USA have?

How is Israel going to make Iran "harmless" without suffering massive destruction and death in the process? Do you have any idea how much fire power Iran has and how much damage it can do to the USA and Israel? You may be able to blow up lots of stuff in Iran and kill lots of people, but they will do the same to Israel and the USA. Count on a very bloody and costly war that could bankrupt the USA and Israel.

Don't these gentlemen realize that the USA is only one of the parties negotiating?
