1. Would the Palestinians accept this
Zechariah   (03.10.15)
Its ok to say cede Territory for some but Abbas cannot accept Jewish control of the Jordan valley and the Jews won't remove the Settlements on the Jordan Valley .Demilitirization will be impossible and Right of Return for Palestinians is holy grail. Not that they let the Jews escape Genocide in Europe not even to from Turkey through Islamic India to Afghanistan .Not even the Struma several hundred in November 1941 .Not even Thirty thousand Jews from Rumania for temporary refugee in 1943 for a few years .
2. Kahlon is looking more the fool he well:really looks like!
(03.10.15)
So does anyone joining him in his utopian "peace-plans/pseudo socialist finance plans" etc.
3. Kahlons campaign
Adler J   (03.10.15)
"has focused almost exclusively on economic issues" -well, no doubt Sephardic Jews are very talented and wise in business. One of my grandfather grandmothers was from Aleppo. ;-) is a small world My best wishes for Kahlon. Cheers!
4. Why must Israel destroy itself?
Economist ,   Be'er Sheba Israel   (03.10.15)
Oren represents that strange social class who have always been concerned with pleasing the Arabs and continuing to receive financial benefits via circuitous methods. Israel has a clear legal claim to all the land assigned in the 1922 Partition. This is the factual legal definition of the State borders. Oren and his class of professionals know this quite well. It is long past time that we insist on following the law, not the hopes and wishes of those who seek to reduce all of us (including the Oren class) to our former status as subjects to the Islamic authorities.
5. Another fanatic leftist joining the destruction of Israel.
Sam   (03.10.15)
Oren, another fanatic leftist joining Lapid, Kahlon, Livni and Herzog, destroyers of Israel. May G-d save us from our enemies within.
6. So i take it Israel also has to accept killing itself!
Riva ,   Israel   (03.10.15)
Because intensive bloodshed is going to be the end result of a 2 state solution. it's NOT A SOLUTION, IT'S A DEATH SENTENCE FOR ISRAEL! Gaza proved that giving land in the hands of violent and untrustworthy Arabs only guarantees a future war with Israel! I just wish the aspiring politicians would stop wanting to give away the land of Israel!
7. Oren = VERY DANGEROUS lackey of US State Department
Forgetabout it   (03.10.15)
NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
8. Dear friends....
Adler J   (03.10.15)
The most important and crucial mission for every candidate willing to be elected Prime Minister of Israel, is the ECONOMY. Do not misjudge reality. Israel needs a Welfare Economist as Prime Minister. One capable to create all the elements necessaries to provide a good human life to all Israelis, clean environment, education, a healthy life. The elected Prime Minister and the government institutions must enable to all citizens to feel they control their own life's, and not the opposite where the government controls all his citizens with excessive taxes and tariffs. i am not against taxes, every successful economy world wide haves taxes systems. Israel gov is not economically equipped to deal with the consequences of constant wars which just increase unemployment. Israel economy needs to create perfect markets structures because just competitive markets produce efficient outcomes. I had heard several times the slogan "the country needs a change", but when you talk about changing the Prime Minister and you choose a new one that is going to do exactly the same than previous Prime Ministers done, it can't be called a change, or at least not the kind of change that the israeli society expects. I grew up in a capitalist country, and let me tell you this, in the economy science this country haves a lot to learn. To activate the Israel economy whoever becomes Prime Minister his priority must be to increase the social welfare. If Iis good for the israeli citizens is good for Israel. if is good for Israel is good for the Prime Minister. Shalom Ps: we will not restrict to build in israeli settlements
9. To #4 Dear Economist
Adler J   (03.10.15)
The candidate is Kahlon not Oren, and Kahlon never said he will not build in Israeli settlements besides that it creates more jobs for Israelis and Palestinians. What's the matter with you? the most important and crucial mission for every candidate willing to be elected Prime Minister of Israel, is the ECONOMY. Israel haves all the resources to enjoy the best economy of the Middle East and the Mediterranean! is not impossible.
10. and settlements are the problem .
alan ash ,   nyc ny   (03.10.15)
and settlements are the problem . not the 65 years of them killing us . every peace gesture has brought us more death . our enemy wants us dead .
11. Suicidal lunacy of 2 State Final Solution is obvious!
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.10.15)
The suicidal lunacy of the Two State Final Solution is obvious to any literate child, who can read a map. No sane Israeli should pay the slightest homage to it. This tiny land is ours now and forever!
12. Here a no-nonsense message
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (03.10.15)
With G-D's help; giving land for peace , is OVER, Instead,a strong threatening army ready to defend Israel's . ONE-JEWISH STATE right to exist. That is Israel's reality. Period.
13. Double Moral
Fritz Hans ,   Berlin   (03.10.15)
The word build settlments for Syrian refugees in Turkey and Jordan. Is it right or wrong? Also iN Africa they build settlements for centurys for foreigner, where ever they want. Is it right or wrong?
14. Oren 2-state fantasy
Brod ,   USA   (03.10.15)
Oren 2-state fantasy is a recipe for Israel's destruction. Israel cannot afford to have weak Leftists in government.
15. No 4. In 1922 Israel didn't even exist
(03.10.15)
so what are you talking about?
16. Why would Israel listen to people...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (03.12.15)
who will not bear the consequences of their advice for which they get personal benefits?.
17. #15 Historically incorrect
Economist ,   Be'er Sheba   (03.12.15)
The definition of The Jewish Homeland, and the laws setting its legal borders were established in 1922. Not knowing this simple historical and legal fact is a major problem among the allegedly educated Israeli population. I live here too, so I am not making criticisms from the comfort of my Manhattan apartment. The fact that the Jewish Agency were (and still are) more concerned with what the Muslims want is another major problem here. A simple, factual, useful outline of the laws and history is found in many places online. One of the best, most accessible (in Hebrew and English) was produced by Eli Hertz (Search for Eli Hertz Myths and Facts). Also, many others have provided exhaustive and conclusive legal analysis confirming our rights to 'Jewish Palestine' as specifically defined in 1922. This is basic history, not a metaphysical subject. Those who're unaware of such simple facts ought to ask themselves how they've lived so long not knowing these things... and why they're not a major part of today's efforts.
