2. Building homes?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.13.15)
Hardly. Construction materials are used exclusively to shore up tunnels and dig new ones, and to expand or build new homes for the so-called "leadership" of Hamas. Instead of accelerating delivery of construction materials to Gaza, Israel should simply seal the border crossing. No goods in; no goods out. No more humanitarian aid. No more sick Gazans. Hamas needs to be brought to heel, and this is the fastest way to do it. When the people of Gaza have had enough, they can rise up and take back their government from the terrorist elements. The most valuable lesson that Hamas should have come away with from Protective Edge is that the international community will pay enormous amounts of lip service to Gaza and make lavish promises of financial support .... that have not materialized. Attacking Israel has always been Hamas' main method of fundraising. Which no longer works. If ever there was a time for Israel to tighten the screws, it is now. Kick them when they're down. Much better than waiting for tunnels to be constructed and missiles and mortars to fly.
