1. How wrong can a Douglas be? "Fringe/madness" are words not
(03.15.15)
belonging in sentences, that attempt to describe the venerable tradition of antisemitism in both Europe and the Islamic sphere. Why connect imaginary "settlements" (legitimate construction in Judea & Samaria) with the bloodthirsty Jihadofascists?! Jews die in Paris, Berlin, London or Jerusalem because they're Jews, no other reason. When will prominent Jews like Michael learn to speak the truth instead of politically correct platitudes? Thanking the Pope, really?!
2. Hypocrite Americans focusing on Europe and aniti-Semitism
Mark B. ,   Amsterdam / Holland   (03.15.15)
How about focusing on your own country mr. Douglas and it's deep rooted racism against African-Americans? Instead of going to Israel and lecture Europe, you might want to visit Ferguson and tell your fellow countrymen a thing or two about what has been going on therefor years and years.
3. Recommend Aliyah For Michael

5. "Antisemitism" is not "the world's" problem...
Avi ,   NYC, USA   (03.16.15)
It is the Jews' problem. If after so many years of bad experience with...everyone, we still cause the same reaction among nations with whom we live, or who live under our boots, then maybe it is time for a different approach. Instead of sending the whole world to see a psychiatrist, maybe it is the time for a little introspection.
6. #5:Yeah Avi, go to a shrink, but on the way get some basic

education in history & logic. Obviously you're clever enough to having been able to read&write....
7. Jews must tackle the madness of...

having anti-Israeli interests and self-condamnation.
8. To Avi
Hiski Haapoja ,   Espoo, Finland   (03.16.15)
I'm not Jewish, but I think that modern anti-Semitism is clearly a psychiatric problem. For proof, read any paranoid Neo-Nazi website on how evil Jews secretly rule this or that institution.
9. Michael Douglas is only partially correct.
Anthony Fallon ,   Manchester UK   (03.16.15)
....the irrational dislike of Jews (many of whom are intermarried to Gentiles & most Jews don't easily identify with Judaism either by looks, name, garb etc) is, in my opinion because Jews are perceived as weak and have very low demographic density in the diaspora. In addition, most people don't have the same zero tolerance for antisemitism which they reserve for acts of racism against Black people or Asians. In the UK, from the 1950's to the 1980's, Black people (who were far fewer in number in those days & didn't have the benefit of anti-racist legislation) suffered a lot of verbal and physical attacks & similar actions against Asian people, including the so-called Paki-bashing phenomena, extended in many areas to the end of the 1990's. Whilst Jewish populations in the diaspora will generally continue to decline (Canada, Germany excepted) acts of antisemitism need to be uniformally identified and dealt with under the zero tolerance banner of Racism.
10. Good, that Michael learned from his son.
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (04.12.15)
He is the smart guy !
