You are correct. One more step needs to be taken. Deport the rabbi and his followers back to Lithuania where they can live freely and form their yeshivas there. I'm sure the Lithuanian government will give them housing, shelter, and an unlimited checking account because this group is pious and is doing Gpd's work on earth.

Rav Schach stated that halacha dictates that one must vote UTJ/Shas inorder to preserve Jewish character of the state. It might not be perfect, however, having representatives in the knesset will help the state be more halachik. They are transgressing the greatest gedola of our generation. Shame, shame.
