Whereas Obama has become MIA in the Mideast, France has stepped up. They prevent a worse deal with Iran in 2013, led the air campaign against Libya & have taken a strong stance against Syria & aided moderate rebels. It looks now they will prevent another bad deal with Iran. If only they took a more balanced view to the Israeli-Arab conflict. They backed the PA's move at the UN to try to impose a palestinian state on Israel, but they knew there would be a US veto. I think it's worth it for Israel to play along with the charade of negotiations for the next 2 years if it can count on France's veto on another anti-Israel UN resolutiojn for a palestinian state.

With the tragedies in nuclear power (in japan russia and maybe soon indian point here in the usa) I wonder why anyone would want to rush to a nuclear program for any other reason than a weapon. We have solar power now and wind energy plants that would suit the region better. Obviously its all an Iranian mirage obviously the US and the west are being naive.

The POTUS thinks that all other M E states will sit back and do nothing under Iranian hegemony and Nuclear Destructive Weapons -these countries have plenty of $$$ to acquire what their heart desires Strangely over the years that Israel is reputed to have A Bombs ,these same M E states havenever expressed their serious alarm,,,,funny isnt it?
