1. What is most important
Walter Kehler ,   Newgate, Canada   (03.29.15)
How can we best "prepare both Jews and Arabs to honor the minority's rights"?By recognizing that the most important human issue in the world today is how to institute and guarantee survival of global respect for the right of voluntary informed consent and the other requisites of lawful contract. Only the diligent universal respect for all elements of lawful contract can allow diverse parallel cultures to evolve peacefully.
2. Is the Israeli Left crazy?
AY ,   USA   (03.29.15)
Look at the numbers - Jewish fertility rates going up, while the Arab rates are falling. And this is despite Jewish population being well educated. Plus, I believe Israeli left is discounting the growth of immigration from Europe in the next few years. EU expects up to a million refugees to cross illegally from Africa. A huge number will come in legally from Syria/Lebanon/Iraq. Do you think all of these folks will not contribute to further rise of muslim antisemitism? Do you think that even if Israel annexes the West Bank (Judea and Samaria), Hamas in Gaza will just lay down their arms and join the rest of the territory in harmony? That would require of Hamas 1. as a group in charge of Gaza to at least temporarily give up power and 2. as a local branch of Muslim Brotherhood to give up power. Don't bury the Jewish state yet.
3. Playing into the hands of the enemy
Haim ,   Ra'anana ISRAEL   (03.29.15)
Your article plays right into the hands of the European Union and the Arab States. You know well that we are threatened at present in the South by Hamas, in the North by Hizballah and if we divide any more we'll be threatened also in the east. They want us desttroyed and it seems that this is your aim also. When in the hell are you going to wake up to reality.
4. Only Iran will guarantee the author full ights,he's already

5. the idea of a territorial division is taking its last breath
(03.29.15)
Sorry, but this is exactly what the MAJORITY of JEWS wanted. The MAJORITY of JEWS did NOT want any sharing of the JEWISH LAND with Arabs like the RADICAL LEFTIST LOOSERS and Obama wanted. The next generations will only be thankful for the intelligent Jews who had the brains to push the RADICAL LEFTIST out - hopefully for good - in order to allow JEWS to occupy the JEWISH LAND. Eventually the Arabs and leftists will come to their senses and realize that fighting for any part of the Jewish land is silly and nothing will ever ever come of it, not now and not in 50 years from now as more Jews are being born and more Jews are immigrating..
6. The left will spin so hard it will make everyone dizzy.
Zev ,   Israel   (03.29.15)
7. Author is dead right
K. M. Solomon ,   Jerusalem   (03.29.15)
I think the Arabs Between the River Jordan and the Sea are already a majority. And the two-state solution is dead, whether we like it or not. So, two alternatives are left: either one state for all, or open ended conflict. Apartheid can be tried, but can not be sustained, morally and politically. Ethnic cleansing would also invite a stringent reaction from outside. Within a few years, hostile countries will go nuclear. More over, the world Jewry will not be united in their support for Israel. So, yes, Israel will willy nilly come to terms with reality, it is Arab as well as Jewish state.
8. Living under arab rule?
albert snow ,   sweden   (03.29.15)
If you Dror Zeevi want to live under arab rule you can do it right now. Just move to Gaza or any arab state and you will have your dreams about having a golden age as a jew under muslim rule fulfilled.
9. How did the Czechs solve
Raphael ,   Netanya   (03.29.15)
The problem of the Sudeten Germans ? How did the Turks turn Cyprus into 2 ethnic entities? Of course, what is allowed to muslims and communists is not allowed to Jews, unless the middle eastern turmoil...
10. How's Czechs solve the problem with Slovaks?
Mikhael   (03.29.15)
Whether it's "fair" or not, we can't keep all of Eetz Yisrael west of the Jordan river without keeping all the Arab non-Jews who live there. A Jewish state means a state with a clear Jewish demographic majority, and the only way to preseve this is by giving up the land where a majority of non-Jews live. Lieberman's vision needs to be implemented --keep the parts of Yehuda and Shomron with a Jewish majority and give up the Triangle in return.
11. Time to appreciate the priceless.
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (03.29.15)
Haredi big families.
12. The sky is falling--AGAIN
Sidney ,   California   (03.29.15)
The left are born dhimmis. If they had their media at the time of Israel's creation they would have been telling the world that Israel had no chance to survive. And remember that back then no nation helped Israel and the UN made no effort to enforce its decision. There was even an arms embargo against both sides, which really only meant Israel.
13. Totally true. Goodbye Israel.
Dan   (03.29.15)
My country has decided on suicide by voting for Bibi and against peace. You can't stop idiots from committing suicide if they're determined to do it. So goodbye.
14. #6, The LEFT & Only LEFT ensured security of the state
Z.Lackow ,   israel   (03.29.15)
not only that, THE-LEFT and Only the LEFT or Labor-Zionist-Socialist Movement, populated Palestine with 700,000 jews up to 1948, established the state of israel and ensured its security and superiority in FOUR most important wars of israel. SO, learn the history get educated.
15. the writer is correct. We'll all see that in 10 years...
(03.30.15)
when at age 76 Israel ceases to exist.
16. Tough Times Ahead but not Israel a Arab State .
Zechariah   (03.30.15)
There will be Tough times ahead but not from Israel being a Arab state .PsychoMurder -Suicide Cults and Gangs is the Danger to the World . The Palestinians ought accept a Federation like in Switzerland with Jordan and Other relatively Moderate Islamic Nations and not be Drawn into the Psycho- Death Cult Vortex .
17. when Jews become a minority in Israel
chris colon ,   Bronx,NY   (03.30.15)
this is a delusional statement,Israel will prevail as a nation no matter how many Arabs there are,is a Jewish land, given by God Almighty to his chosen people, the Jews, you can dream all you want,in Israel the temple will be rebuild,is the land of Jesus Christ,no Arab government will rule, never ever the arab religion will be a governing one, never ever.
18. Dan #13, No one is offering Israel peace
Jake   (03.30.15)
So in the meantime, Israel needs a leader with a spine to hold the reigns. And that is the one Israel voted for...not a weak "leader" whose chief desire was to be manhandled by the Obama administration.
19. The Left conveniently "forgot" Rabin's last Knesset speech
Jake   (03.30.15)
on Oct. 5, 1995, which OPPOSED the establishment of a palestinian state, while ensuring that the Arabs of Gaza and the West Bank (areas A and B) would not be included in the future boundaries of the State of Israel: "We would like this to be an entity which is less than a state, and which will independently run the lives of the Palestinians under its authority. The borders of the State of Israel, during the permanent solution, will be beyond the lines which existed before the Six Day War. We will not return to the 4 June 1967 lines. And these are the main changes, not all of them, which we envision and want in the permanent solution: A. First and foremost, united Jerusalem, which will include both Ma'ale Adumim and Givat Ze'ev -- as the capital of Israel, under Israeli sovereignty, while preserving the rights of the members of the other faiths, Christianity and Islam, to freedom of access and freedom of worship in their holy places, according to the customs of their faiths. B. The security border of the State of Israel will be located in the Jordan Valley, in the broadest meaning of that term. C. Changes which will include the addition of Gush Etzion, Efrat, Beitar and other communities, most of which are in the area east of what was the "Green Line," prior to the Six Day War. D. The establishment of blocs of settlements in Judea and Samaria, like the one in Gush Katif."
20. Judea and Samaria make Israel viable. Jews growing majority
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.30.15)
The author relies on politically motivated P.A. hoax statistics to make his point. The Arab "population bomb" is a proven hoax. Highly credible Israeli and American studies prove Jews are a growing majority in Israel: including Judea and Samaria. In fact, Judea and Samaria Jews have one of the highest birthrates in the Western World. Judea and Samaria make Israel viable.
21. #14. The left is infallibly wrong on ALL major issues
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.30.15)
#14. One can still watch leftist idiot leaders on video telling Israel how wonderful life will be able we flee Gaza... Leftists are wrong on ALL major issues from Oslo to Disengagement to Gaza to the Golan to Arafat to...everything!
22. focus on their living conditions for now
paratrooper   (03.30.15)
palestinians living on the west bank are not citizens of israel, nor is israel obligated to give them citizenship. they were part of occupied areas that are under negotiations . so long as the final settlement is reached, israel is under no obligations to offer them citizenship. this however does not mean that what israel is doing to them in terms of making their lives hard, is a good thing. the people on the west bank deserve equal rights to water , transportation , freedom of movement regardless of their official status
23. Zal Lakow, Israel enjoyed not one day of peace & security
Jake   (03.30.15)
under leftist governments, and Oslo led to unprecedented carnage and mayhem in the streets of Israel. The Likud under Begin established a peace treaty with Egypt, and and under the leadership of Netanyahu, the lowest rates of war and terror-related deaths in Israel's history. The stats don't lie.
24. #13. Goodbye Dan. Jews are a growing majority in Israel
Chaim ,   Israel   (03.30.15)
#13 Goodbye Dan and fake alarmist leftist fear mongering. Jews are a growing majority in Israel. Jews voted strongly for Israel to survive and thrive. You go about your infallibly wrong leftist ways as Israel forges ahead on the right path.
