Non Jewish immigrant ,   haifa   (03.29.15)
in a healthy democracy, the separation of powers is crucial to its survival. The judicial system must not be interfered in its works by other groups like the legislative. If the new government wants to limit powers and therefore take all of it in its hands Israel will no longer be a democracy but a dictature where only one group has all the power Israel must wake up I'm hearing more and more people talking about yerida G. Moscatelli
2. #1 non-Jew Immigrant - The Left Control the Courts
Someone   (03.29.15)
So basically if the government tries to take the courts back from the Extreme Left it is non-democratic? Democracy is the will of the people not the will of a Elitist group of judges who clearly have their own agenda which is in its essence anti-democracy. So you seemingly support the Courts in Israel based on your agenda as there is no other viable reason as they are clearly bias.
3. the present justice system is not independent
C   (03.29.15)
the justices of the high court are appointed by the justices themselves and by the bar association. hence the high court justices are a self perpetuating body. such a system is totally undemocratic.
4. democracy is not just liberal lefties
Larry ,   LA (formerly)   (03.29.15)
We people on the right also have our say in what is justice and legal. We voted and the courts and the justices that are left over from Labor's leftie days don't seem to reflect our moral ethics. It is time that the courts understood us too not just the Arabs and the lefties.

Good government needs a balance of powers, not a runaway court with imperial fantasies
6. ISRAELI COURTS
jOHN TRAIN ,   WASHINGTON DC USA   (03.30.15)
The United States has 51 models to choose from. None of them is as undemocratic as is Israel's.. Unfortunately, whenever the left takes over an institution they Institute perpetual control is not only the Muslim brotherhood that once it gets in disestablishes democracy is the incestuous selection process exercised by left-wing judiciary.
7. The unelectable Supreme Court
Joseph Kelly ,   Australia   (03.30.15)
As far as 1990 even Gorbachev, the then head of the Soviet Politburo realized tragically that for his country to survive as a country he had to get rid of the of unelected unrepresented and undemocratic Marxists dictators in his Politburo. So he had the entire Politburo sacked, which was the best thing that happened to Russia. 100% of the old Soviet Politburo, were patriotic and stood up fiercely for Mother Russia. The self perpetuating unelected Israeli Judiciary seems to represent no one bar the 5% NOISY POST Zionists and Arabs. Both segments would like for Israel to disappear. This is why, anything done by this ZIONIST Government would be a blessing. For Israel lovers, if this is not addressed expeditiously, Israeli could be destroyed by the millions and millions of anti Israeli moneys seeming to come in from abroad.
8. Justice Minister Liberman!!
Joseph Kelly ,   Australia   (03.30.15)
Not knowing about the veracity of the evidence, every time elections were called, these judges investigated right wing Avigdor Libermann. I nominate the new Justice Minister Avigdor Libermann. I am sure he would be a wonderful justice minister.
