1. US Foreign Policy detached from reality
Michael Lipshutz ,   Melbourne Australia   (03.30.15)
Winston Churchill said of the Munich settlement " “You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor and you will have war.” - That Now applies today. Obama is the new Chamberlain
2. Hope So
Mark ben Josef ,   USA   (03.30.15)
Israel pursued its policies caring not a bit where the US is hurt or damaged. And for once, the US and world are doing our own thing despite Netanyahu manipulation.. Maybe someday, Israel will realize that the US does not exist solely to do Netanyahu's bidding. The US has its own interests which are non synonymous with the extreme right in Israel. So yeah! Let's hope there is a Middle East around that his kindler and gentler in 2917, kindler and gentler because Netanyahu did not nuke the entire region. into a glowing hole unfit for habitation for 100,000,000 years.
3. mr. fishman we will remembe
(03.30.15)
mr. fishman. everyone will remember Obama and Kerry as the people who helped destroy Anerica as we know it. Obama foreign policy first with fatty Clinton and then retard Kerry brought about the destruction that we see now in Lybia and tgat is spilling over Tunisia. the destruction that we see in Syrua andIraq with ISIS. the destruction that we see in Yemen. the destruction that we see in Ukraine. the loss of respect and the loss of fear of the American presidency. ad all Obama is concerned with is lifting the sanctions of Uran in order to Allie it to become a real power in the middle east. and blamibg Netanyahu a DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED person for all the problems caused by the Palestinians. we never forgot Carter and the moquery that he made out of the presidency. and we thought that there will never be worst! how wrong were we to believe this.
4. Obama Freign Policy
Jacques ,   Nsw   (03.30.15)
Very encouraging news coming from Y-Net? after putting down the likud party and the way peoples voted , perhaps the intellectual left in Tel-Aviv will wake up , what Obama is his real intention is store for in Israel in the future , he is unmasking himself , but unfortunately is a bit late now on all fronts ,
5. Agree, and mr Sotero is a sunni failure.
Beary White ,   Norway   (03.30.15)
6. FB Tamara Perez - Go for it!
Spyguy ,   seattle usa   (03.30.15)
I find it funny that Tamara, who is sitting in safe Las Vegas, is telling Israelis to start a war with Iran that, at best will, devastate the Israelis economy.and at worst will destroy most of Israel and get lots of Israelis killed. In the REAL WORLD Iran is a lot stronger than people give them credit for and Israel is NOT the super-human warriors that the myths portray. I really think Tamara should be the first one to parachute out of a plane over Iran with her trusty Uzi.
7. Sincere apologies to Israel
JVC ,   LA, USA   (03.30.15)
I'm sorry to all of our Israeli friends, and doubtless many Muslims of good will, for the suffering and prolonged war, that has befallen us because of the buffoon Obama. To the millions of white, affluent Americans, many of them Jews, who elected him out of a sense of "hope" and white guilt... you are collectively morons, who engaged in the racism of putting a man in The Office because of his skin color. While his incompetence was not on display prior to 2008, his inexperience and political leanings were. You, The Left, that got us this monstrosity, should be ashamed.
8. Obama is an amateur
Rabbi Yakov Lazaros ,   USA   (03.30.15)
The problem is he has no experience in foreign affairs and has surrounded himself with advisers from his Chicago gang who also know nothing about foreign policy. What a disaster.
9. Obama's name will be remembered much worse than Chamberlain
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.30.15)
10. op-ed of interest
Larry ,   LA (formerly)   (03.30.15)
Wow! this is the first op-ed that actually has reality in its sights. Instead of spending time trying to turn Bibi into a bum, Ynet actually allows some one to access the reality of the stupidity of the Obama administration. Obama thinks that by making buddies with Iran, pulling out of Iraq, and bashing Israel, he will bring peace to the ME, but his brain is seriously detached from seeing the reality on the ground. Like his giving into Iran and not realizing that they are just liars and will never keep any agreement, Obama has demonstrated his naivety to all. The author and Ynet deserve praise for this op-ed.
11. Great Shot
Joe ,   Israel   (03.30.15)
A picture is worth a thousand words. The expression of bewilderment on Obama's face says it all
12. The ME was always fated to be a basket case
Cameron ,   USA   (03.30.15)
13. Remembering Obama & Kerry
Karen Levin ,   Delray Beach, FL USA   (03.30.15)
I respectfully disagree - Those of us who live by Truth To Power will ALWAYS look back at Obama & Kerry as the next "generation" of Bush & Cheney. Oligarchs, Capitalists and Armchair Warriors who succeeded yet again in the willful destruction of our land, our seas, our sky - and Our People.
14. Where is the Illuminati hit squad when you need t.hem?
roxanne ,   israel/us   (03.30.15)
15. The Manchurian has succeeded as planned. simple!
(03.30.15)
16. To: Facebook Aussama Mislimani
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.30.15)
Are you serious? Do you really think that Iran presents a challenge to Israel? Tell me -- did it not take Iran eight long years to eke out an embarrassing draw with a vastly inferior Iraq? Isn't Iran's revolutionary guard taking an ass-kicking in Syria at the hands of a poorly-armed, poorly-trained bunch of irregulars in Syria? And you think that Iran presents a match for Israel's military might? How well did things go for Iran when Israel decided to bomb the Iranian nuclear facilities in Qazvin and Parchin? The Iranians never even saw us coming -- we blinded their radar. The Israeli planes were long gone by the time that the Iranians were waking up to breakfast and gigantic craters where Qazvin and Parchin used to be. Be careful what you wish for. While Iran is merely an aspiring player, Israel IS a nuclear power. Think we wouldn't use it? Think again. Iran is the greatest threat to civilization that has ever reared its ugly head. And the State of Israel is going to yank civilization's chestnuts out of the coals -- yet again. This time, there will be a considerable price to pay. Face it -- the world would be a far better place without the Islamic Republic. No one else might have the stones, but Israel does. Do keep that in mind.
17. To: No. 12
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.30.15)
A little like Ireland, eh, me boyo? Well, not quite. Israel is thriving while the Irish grow potatoes and wonder what the hell happened. Sucks, doesn't it, to be Irish?
18. I agree
sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (03.30.15)
They let Iran build up tens of thousands of missiles on Israels borders, they also let Hamas launch missiles with impunity at Israeli cities, They where also afraid to launch a ground war in Gaza. They also invaded Iraq and destroyed the country and gave power to the Shiites. Wait this sounds like BUSH & BIBI. Obama withdrew American soldiers and saved American lives and also saved of billions of dollars. No more war or money from America.
19. To: No. 18
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.30.15)
You have conveniently forgotten to mention that when Obama yanked the American troops out of Iraq, he neglected to bring American military materiel with them --- much to the dismay of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and very much against their strong recommendation. Certainly explains how ISIS got to be as well armed as it is. You have Obama to thank for that. Why not throw Obama a parade? You are a fool if you think that Obama saved American lives. ISIS, Al Qaeda, the Iranians -- they all have the United States in their sights. Obama has been, and continues to be, an unmitigated disaster. His domestic policies are stunning failures. His foreign policies have resulted in some genuine threats to civilization. I appreciate your desire to respect POTUS. But should that loyalty extend to IMPOTUS, too? I don't think so. Why are you so determined to make his private agenda -- which has proven so damaging to the interests of the United States, foreign and domestic -- yours?
20. To: No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.30.15)
Oh, yeah. Obama is single-handedly responsible for the growth and spread of violent Islamofascism and the creation of ISIS. Good going! What else does Obama have in store for civilization? A nuclear Iran? Thank goodness, Israel will stop his nefarious plans. Face it, sluggo -- Obama is the quintessential emperor without any clothes. He can drag America down if he wishes, but he has no right to endanger the sovereign State of Israel. Fortunately, Israel controls that one.
21. unreality of obamas foreign policy?
Richard Sherwin ,   herzliyah israel   (03.30.15)
1. depends on what you call 'reality' here. 2. from his view, money's saved usa cant afford anymore spending on ME moslems. 3. his talk suggests he feels for moslems, something or other. nothing for jews or israel except hoping theyll not be his problem. 4. doesnt care if sunnis and shiah kill each other, not his business. doesnt care much about europe either as far as i can tell. or euros can tell. 5. cares about obamacare and doing good with it. a major success. 6. FOREIGN POLICY IS TO HAVE NONE, unless forced into it. Talk a lot, do as little as possible, and blame Bibi for what he can. 7. so what's unreal? if iranians nuke a us city he'll nuke them back. big deal. if they nuke israel, he'll blame Bibi. It works for most democrats, most american jewry, and more and more fake intellectuals in university. He's just trying to do his own BDS without quite looking like it. 8. BDS: Israel first, moslems 2d, europe 3d, etc. this is quite a real foreign policy it seems to me, and even more, it seems to be working very well.
22. Almost makes one miss the good old days of
A ,   Belgium   (03.30.15)
the previous clown-in-chief: George "I have written a book. This will come as quite a shock to some. They didn't think I could read, much less write" W. Bush.
23. 2 Mark, hope and change does not work
CJK   (03.31.15)
netanyahu has no intention whatever to nuke the entire region or even parts of it. however, netanyahu will defend israel's national security interests. netanyahu does not have the obligation to follow obama's irrational policies which have caused chaos, failed states and the deaths of hundreds of thousands. obama has destroyed the middle east, has undermined us interests and respect. long standing allies like saudi arabia and egypt are turning to russia for a possible alliance. no one trusts obama, least of all the israelis.
