Miron ,   Israel   (04.08.15)
who wants to be heavily taxed on his job? They will continue to be a burden to the Israeli society. Most of them in TelAviv area and other cities do not work At one point they will mary Israelis and get big social assistance paycheques.
3. Israeli Right turning israel into a Racist state
Z.Lackow ,   israel   (04.08.15)
These people should be LEFT ALONE. Anybody remembers jewish refugees in 2000 yr history ??? I guess israeli Right pretending not to remember.
4. Z.Lackow - did you even read the article!?
R Saus ,   Tel Aviv   (04.09.15)
It's all about how these people are NOT refugees. So calling Israel a racist state because it wants to repatriate Eritreans to Eritrea like the UK and Holland is absurd.
5. #2 ,...
split ,   US   (04.09.15)
They won't be more burden to you than your black hatted modestly wrapped born schnorrers to me not to mention your organized rip-off scammers living of handouts, government grants and subsidies that are protected 24/7/365 at my expense ,...
6. #2, actually it is the opposite problem
Danny   (04.09.15)
They do and will work, just illegally. So taxing them makes no difference
7. # 3
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (04.10.15)
The Jews always worked hard and contributed to society. They were not a burden on anybody.
8. Just expel these people. They contribute merely competition
Moshe ,   Usa   (04.09.15)
for low end jobs. If Jews don't want to do low level jobs, then give them to the arobs to do. And all these runaways from other countries will do is use your medical services & beg for $ from your government.
9. Better ideas..
Michael Pielet ,   USA   (04.09.15)
The israeli government over time purchase all apartments for sale in Ramat Aviv Gimmel and Rehavia. Reserve the apartments for the use of illegal migrants only. Rent one shekel per month per apartment. All for the dignity of the illegal migrants. Allow the illegal migrants to clean the homes of their neighbors. Allow the children of the illegal migrants to attend local Israeli schools. Now that is real Zionism and real humanitarianism!
10. As long as the first world strips the third world
Shachar ,   Eilat   (04.11.15)
of it's resources, people will continue to move on mass from poverty to wealthy countries. You need to solve the problems of Africa to stop the flow, everything else is a bandaid.
11. They are not refugees according to international conventions
Ozraeli ,   Australia   (04.13.15)
The Geneva Conventions define "Refugees" (hence, "Asylum Seekers") as refugees only into the adjacent country from where they have fled from, away from the immediate danger - NOT THE COUNTRY OF THEIR CHOICE. They are illegal economic migrants, infiltrating the borders of Israel. They also already passed through 2-3 other countries (of their own language, religion, & traditions) along the way to trying to gain economic advantage, not just survival in Israel. "Refugees" are allowed into the neighbouring country, not the country of their choice. The "stranger" also needs to know how to behave as a guest... BTW, another way to deal with them would be to dump them in Gaza or the PA, amongst Arabic speaking co-religionists. I'm sure they would assimilate well! BTW, it is quite likely that a lot of the (very expensive) seed money for border crossings, etc was provided by Iran.
12. Eritrean Refugee
kidun ,   uk   (04.17.15)
How can peaple whose parents and family mambers were prosecuted by Hitler, killed , gsed on the concertation camp do this? Some of them has excaped to UK and other European Countries. What would have happened if they were sent back to concentration camp? The Eritrean leader Isayas is no less cruel than Hitler. No one should be sent back to Eritrean. It is a hell. Israel need to uphold international low.
