If every family in Israel reached out to one survivor to help him or her, what are difference it would make. It would not have to be monetary aid, but help with simple tasks of daily living. If someone in the US could start a Go Fund Me site to aid survivors directly w/o gov't agency involvement, we could make a difference too.

All they get (the wealthy&influential among them) is to light the torch at Yad va Shem Ceremony. Then: back into the closet. After all, how many years have we got left to feel (or not) this shame???! Mind you: there are millions waiting to be distributed, but some fat blobs in the system are living off that money!
