They, the Pintos, the Olmerts, the Deris, the Katsavs,... - but don't worry also in the European and other countries - all think, they are immune and untouchable because of their political or religious position in the world or in Israel. In this case if the police investigation can prove his guilt and have enough evidence against him why a plea bargain? Because he's a famous rabbi? His crime, bribery (200.000,-$) of a very high ranked police officer, is not a little crime. No compassion with him. He knew what he was doing! To avoid critics: I write this talkback not because I'm against rabbis or religion(s), but I do the same when politicians,... are involved in (such) crimes.
