1. Congratulations!

To the israeli defense industry. Probably this development could be sold to Egypt and to the US who has that same kind of problem with the smuggling from Mexico.
2. Don't forget Lebanon border.

Do the same there.
3. Give one to every homeowner.

Just like a smoke detector. Hopefully multiple units will be able to precisely triangulate a tunnel location and send that data to the IDF for immediate bunker-buster bombing. I wonder if something analogous to a fish's lateral line could be used as a sensor? bury a special cable 2 feet below the surface for the length of the Gaza border. Differences in sound/vibration/magnetic activity, etc., could be used to identify where a tunnel crosses beneath the cable. Just a thought.
4. Excellent

Israel has the ability to use its top level scientific base and indutrial manufacturing to implement it to defend itself. Really fantastic performance in short time.
5. Aren't we smart?

When you consider all the technology Jews have invented it makes me smile.... KEEP BUILDING AND INVENTING !!!
6. Detecting tunnels is one thing. Taking them out another.

Developing a means of detecting deeply buried tunnels has been a major challenge. I know the IDF considered a number of proposed technologies a few years ago, but none proved satisfactory. So if Elbit has indeed developed a sophisticated and accurate means of detecting tunnels or tunneling activity, that's a major achievement. But knowing what's there and doing something about it often something quite different. Some things Israel is aware of - missiles being stationed in Lebanon, snipers acting from Gaza - but chooses not to preempt to avoid being accused of starting a fight. But once a tunnel extends under Israeli territory there's no excuse for not responding, as by penetrating that tunnel from above and flooding it with noxious fumes.
7. Compare this with obama's "Open Borders" for US
(04.17.15)
allowing Muslim terrorists entry along with no secure US borders. And, Americans voted twice for this a HOLE?
8. Maybe they can install them on US/Mexico border
Steve Lane ,   Morgan Hill, CA, USA   (04.18.15)
I wish these and other electronic security measures would be installed along the entire US/Mexico and US/Canada borders and along our shores, because we're being invaded by illegals and terrorists with no idea how bad the problem is. We won't knjow until we get hit by the next huge terrorist attack, then it's too late.
