EU is critical of Israel and there is evidence of cruelty to the Arabs but this Holocaust Denial does not make for better relations .Iran still plays a shocking role worse with their last ruler and Nasrallah of Hezbollah is an severe perpetrator of Holocust Denial revealing NeoNazi Sympathy .the Eu knows about this phenomena and does little to effect a changes .

It is not only the Arab world where the Holocaust is either denied or not taught. The U.S. is almost as guilty - there are very, very few classes which address the Holocaust in the U.S. - even when it comes to a "special event" whereby a lecturer in brought in to schools - a frequent happening for non-Jewish literature and/or events.

When trendy lefties refer to it as "Shoah" then you invite denial. The proper name is Holocaust (or cold blooded murder) or if you prefer "industrialized genocide". Tell it as it was . . . don't make it sound more palatable so as not to offend sensitive feelings. RKDH

As we move further away from the horrors of WWII, people tend to wipe the ugly memories from their minds and concentrate on today's realities. In most parts of the world, the holocaust is not a significant event because it did not happen there and it happened very long ago. It may be taught in history classes, but the amount of time dedicated to it decreases as more history is piled upon existing history. Sad but true, we tend to let the past be the past.
