1. You can not be serious!

This is possibly the WORST choice. Deri should be prohibited from being part of government. The article focuses on the poverty level in Israel. Could it possibly be that the poverty is partly (if not significantly) due to subsidising the Haredim? If they actually worked instead of just schnorring perhaps the economy could grow. In fact the only thing that makes sense in the article is the reduction on taxes for foodstuffs. No one should have to be taxed for the basics.
2. How about ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.30.15)
.... a food stamp program for people whose income falls beneath a certain number? But the food stamp program should benefit only the "working poor" and elderly. It should NOT benefit perpetual "Torah scholars" with ten children and neither a job nor the desire to have one.
3. good outcome

the reduction or elimination of vat on basic foods is rational and necessary. the poorest segments of the population cannot be expected to subsidise the budget.
4. Thief

How can you honestly believe in a man who has been convicted in a court of law that he will change his feathers. It makes me sick that this sort of person will be influencing my life in the future. Have we no shame.
5. we need 0% VAT on basic food
zionist forever   (06.18.15)
The religious are not the only ones who live on a tight budget, there are plenty of other people who have low pay jobs and struggle to make ends meet so basic foodstuffs should be 0% VAT.
