The result is that Jews who were once so comfortable in Western Europe are afraid to be identified as Jews in these advanced, enlightened democracies. That seems so contradictory but anti-Semitism is not logical it is derived from underlying centuries-old hatreds, Christian and Moslem alike. Democracy, multiculturalism and tolerance applies to everyone except the Jews. It seems that the Torah and Prophets were accurate, whether one is religious or not, 'I will bring you back from the ends of the earth and you will not be uprooted again.. Lastly. but most importantly, there is an Israel for these Jews to come back to and it was built with great work and sacrifice. Something which these returnees did not take part in - yet

How can middle or average income people, or retirees [like me] hope to settle in Israel, when REALTOR CHAZERS manipulate the market and DRIVE UP COSTS???
