1. significant number....no statistics 2. rising violence...no statistics 3. Institutionalized racism....no explanation ... A moving cry for help, but it would have been stronger if it included the information listed above..also given the documented high incidence of battered women among Ethiopian immigrants the metaphor is an unfortunate one.
2. Sounds bit far fetched, but please investigate indeed!

3. israel is blind to crimes committed by white-euro-jews.

There is always an excuse, or there is a comparison to a worst act by a nonjew or cry of antisemitism.
4. #3 Wrong -Some blind to those against Americans too

They are blind in all directions. The Sephardim (who few would call white) are often the ones attacking but the euro-jew as you say also do attacks. Seems the law in Israel is reserved for a few groups and you can find documented complaints even with video of assaults and the prosecutors say "no community significance". I have such a video of a stick wielding death threat around the throat. The judge even saw it in a courtroom and was shocked. Clearly an assault. No charges were filed. The restraining order has no mention of the violence. Sephardim against an American. It needs fixed for the law abiding Israeli not just for one or two races.
5. Ethiopians suffering from police

The Israeli justice system does work. If any Israeli, of Ethiopian or any other origin is subject to police harassment, all that needs be done is issue a complaint by the official channels, then call on all VIPs who will listen to demand a fair evaluation of the complaint, and don't let up! When enough complaints of this nature are filed, then the media starts paying attention and steps are taken at the official level. Difficult? Yes. Time consuming? Yes. Face it: that's real life. Then there's the other question: how came the Ethiopian community received such a reputation with the police? Could it be that calm and open and CANDID discussion with high level officers is in order?

as a American of Cape Verdean Jewish/Arab/European/African decent...offended by all who hate based on race. Most deeply offended by those who know well of hate...having paid the price solely because of who they were...across hundreds of years to see the victims of hate...turn to hate another...just because they can...offends it stands as a challenge...to my remaining Israeli's friend
