1. where does ynet get these journalists
marv   (05.02.15)
too many israelis lack self regard, and run around currying favour whether 2 state, or helping syrians. Enough already. Build your state and shut the hell up already with your b leeding hearts. Herzog and llivni were wrong about obama, about iran, about concessions, about almost everything.
2. Maybe it will be realistic to build the Palestinian

state in the terriroties as mentioned in this article and hencewith terminate the unjust occupation of the Land of Israel through Arabs.
3. The ME Christians do not care about Israel and hate Jews
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (05.02.15)
A couple of months ago in the US Senator Ted Cruz spoke in front of a gathering of Arab Christians about the fate of their brothers in the Middle East. At some point in the speech he referred to Israel as the only country in the region that respects the rights of minorities and treats them as human beings. Many of the Christian Arabs in the audience reacted furiously and began booing him. He then told them "If you don't care about Israel I don't care about you" and left the stage and conference altogether. Israel should help Kurds and Druzee only.
4. Halabi from Aleppo needs to be reminded how Walid Jumbalat
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (05.02.15)
the leader of the Druzee community in Lebanon hates Israel and fought against IDF causing many casualties.
5. A shortsighted article
Moshe ,   Israel   (05.02.15)
It is not enough that Jews have poured so many blood in the Holocaust, and later in wars of survival against Arab aggression, the author urges them now to encumber themselves with the burden of region's minorities shield and (perhaps not intentionally) spill more blood. Does he think that Damascus, Hezbollah and probably Iran and Hhamas will stand aloof while Israel conquers part of Syria ? it is likely they will rain the Jewish state with mass missiles and rockets.
6. The Druze must ask for this
RickD ,   USA   (05.03.15)
If Syrian Druze want help from Israel they must ask Israel. If they really want Israeli boots on the ground they need to ask publicly. I believe there have been over 4 million Syrian refugees since this thing started. This is a major border for neighboring states and I expect they would do what they can to resolve things in Syria.
7. @ #2 - "olim hadashim"
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (05.03.15)
You do realize that part of "the territories" mentioned are the Golan Heights? Are you willing to have a hostile Palestinian country sitting on the Golan, capable of striking any target from Naharia to Netanya at a moment's notice? I think you should buy a topographic map and take a look at what you're suggesting.
8. The only solution is to end the Irania mullah terror!
i-real   (05.03.15)
Syria will become peaceful instantly. Hezbollah and Hamas will be out of business.
9. It pains me greatly to disagree
Adam Berkowitz   (05.03.15)
Yakub, I quite literally cry when I read the reports of what is happening in Syria, so close to where I live in the Golan. But until the Palestinians stop supporting Hamas and Hezbollah, it is literally impossible for Israel to do anything. It is not in our ability to fly in and help like we are doing in Nepal.
10. if israel takes this land israel is involved in the war
zionist forever   (05.04.15)
The Lebanese security zone was to protect Israel it was our security problem and we had to deal with it our way. In Syria moving in, taking land and establishing a security zone formerly drags Israel into the Syrian war and that makes us legitimate targets. It would also not go down will in the arab world who would prefer killing to Israel taking land even for humanitarian reason
