it's fine to criticize Obama's politics but what are the alternatives proposed? More sanctions ad vitam aerternam, a tomahawk rain? You are talking about the Iranian people but what have you done for them? In 2009 it would have been clever to support covertly the people and help them topple the mullahcratie. Military action is not really an option now and you know it ,so the only way to help for the transition from this despicable regime seems to be an appeasement. It would perhaps create sufficient relief for the people on the street to demand more freedom and to act against the regime but in any case they would need support from the outside world. Not just plain words about their being on the right side of history but logistics, equipment so on. I am amazed that insane jihadists have been supplied, the people in Libya have been supplied but the Iranian people are blatantly ignored to their fate of either becoming bankrupt under sanctions or killed and raped by the thugs of the Iranian regime. Obama is a rational man and knows full well that the Iranian nuclear industry cannot be seriously degraded without a land invasion. The facility at Fordow is too deep even for nuclear weapons to take out. Israel is so casualty averse that it has done nothing about the tunnels in Gaza or Lebanon from which virtually all the rockets are launched against Israel. When Israel has the koach to go in and rip out the tunnels in Lebanon and Gaza, then, and only then does Israel have a right to talk about Obama. Obama knows that in spite of the Republican rhetoric, there is no way the US is going to invade Iran to get rid of their nuclear industry. Though a very intelligent an eloquent man, Obama, who was the hope for many both in the US and abroad, has proven to be the vilest president in the history of the United States. He failed in domestic politics, and on the international political scene he has proven to be a disaster. He mishandled every international hot spot miserably. Whether in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Libya and the list goes on and on, his yoyo policies brought instability, destruction, death and economic mayhem. He is neither a friend to Israel nor to the Arabs. His policies and actions or inactions in the Middle East have brought confusion and instability. He alienated his friends in the region by not following up on his promises.
