Also sounds eerily similar to the 100,000 Sephardic children whom Dr. Sheba (the Josef Mengele in Israel) experimented radiation treatments.

i had the privilege af attending a weekend conference in 2008 of The Jewish Children's Survivors of the Holocaust. I heard many of these stories. It was a testament of the human will to survive.
