By 2050 the Haredim will be in the IDF so supporting them now is not all bad .But the Equal burden is contentious and sooner better than later a Centrst Unity ought evolve .Meanwhile the Socioeconomic Redistribution is Just .The Galus has Many who can do more as also the Israeli Moguls .
2. Not necessarily
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.05.15)
That Prime Minister Netanyahu received a strong mandate from the people is indisputable. If the parties sitting in opposition start to stonewall legislation or actions that the people of Israel want, Netanyahu can always dissolve the government and call for new elections. Then, Likud comes up with 50, or 55 mandates. So the opposition wants to think really carefully before they get stupid.
3. The rabin government that brought us Oslo had 61 MKs
Zev ,   Israel   (05.05.15)
They even had to bribe two MK's from other parties to get it passed.
4. time to replace coalition govt system
nadav ,   tlv   (05.05.15)
Obviously coalition governments do no work, look at Japan and Italy, where like in Israel, coalition governments have turned the political landscape into a circus and constantly derail reforms in the economy etc... Israel needs a constituent representative government, if a bicameral one in necessary, and a party system that is not dependent on a coalition framework. that is the ONLY way forward.
