This article saddens me. I was reluctant due to my strength at staying out of people's business, but I felt like I needed to comment on this. Based on everything I just read I feel that Israel was a country that was proud of what it has become. It seems that the Israel we are living in today is the exact opposite. It's sad because these are issues that are we can solve. Israel puts too much effort into other people's business instead of the core problem which are affecting its citizens. The whole issue about social security, after reading this article, how can I even trust my own country to give me a pension that I would be working the sweat off my bones for almost the rest of my life. As a citizen I would want to feel confident my my government that they are treating me as it should, not only for me, but for my children and my children's children. I hope other people read this article and feel the way I feel now and hopefully something improves. If this keeps up they won't be able to hide these issues anymore and people will want to leave for better opertunities and conditions. As an Oleh chadash, I am starting to feel regret, but as an Israeli Jew no matter what hardships come my way I will always stay and love my country.

Your point is very well made. That is exactly how things work here: Investigate, report, read and close it! Sadly, I am not at all surprised at this report. Worse, I don't expect anything to change despite the terrible need.
