Kashrut supervision is a joke at plenty of Brahma upper caste Haredi Jerusalem restaurants. Dont let the mashgiach's beards fool you. Are people even aware of the amount of insect body parts they consume with every meal? Ground into flour? Into coffee and chocolate? On the sauce?

The whole issue of kosher certification process of buinesses ,restaurants etc. in israel is more or less a farce and /or criminal activity . The various kashrut certification bodies/rabbis from badatz, belz,rubin, etc etc .are fighting for" market-share" for their "brand" with all its might. "double invoicing" of inspection flights overseas , overcharging buisnesses( who of course give these costs to customers), not qualified kashrut supervisors,not attending supervisors and still charging, etc.etc. In the end the religious believer pays for all this costs ,much more than he should. For what on earth israel needs this myriad of kashruts. ???

I wonder what the tooth fairy has to say about this important development ?

in religious affairs. The self-appointed AG and judges should butt out in businesses not pertaining to them. Better yet, they should all be out and make a normal democratic election for justice ministry.
