However, if trade was based on logic. I would be reassured by this article. However, Europe has ncer used only logic when it comes to the Jews. europe killed out its lawyers, doctors accountants and engineers soley because they were Jews. The money didn't matter than. Why would the benefit of money matter now?
2. Israel & Europe...

"... the type of close relations we hope will continue... ". Ah,,,, Perhaps,- just a little bit!,- that will also depend on our own future actions and policies...

5. Vile lies. The EU has sanctions on Israel
boycott the EU   (05.13.15)
Ironically, in the headline of the Hebrew site of Ynet there's a news item about the EU threat to put harsher sanctions on J&S products. Lars Faaborg-Andersen is unashamedly lying. The fact that the EU doesn't boycott some aspects of relations with Israel, doesn't mean it doesn't have sanctions at all. I boycott all European countries who support harsher sanctions on Israel: Belgium, Holland, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Scandinavian countries, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Malta and Luxemburg. In Q1 2015 Israel exports to Asia and Israel exports to the US were bigger than to the EU. Israel is independent and will not capitulate to any EU pressure.

7. EU would be advised to keep noses out of Israel's politics
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (05.13.15)
While Israel certainly benefits from the EU's R&D Framework Programs, they shouldn't think Israel doesn't do such work, even without such funding, with many other countries. But unlike the EU, Canada, India and China don't tie such cooperation to its internal politics or the dysfunctional "peace process". They aren't funding programs to change Israel's leadership, or threatening them with sanctions. So it shouldn't surprise that Israel is expanding its attention well beyond "Old Europe" and the arrogant attitudes they bring with them.
8. we import more then they do from us. pull this trade.

9. Boycott

It's about time a newspaper put the BDS movement in proper perspective. Hysteria about alleged spreading of BDS does no good to Israel's cause.
10. Abassador's one sided view

Europe is not only scientific cooperation. The EU, and its member countries, are financing anti-israeli activity. They are making up international law that only Israel is subject to. Its press is distorting the facts. Its politicians conduct anti-Israel propaganda. In Belgium criminal acts for antisemitic reasons is not punished.
