Truly, the city of Jerusalem belongs to all faiths. To protect its uniqueness, it has to be internationalized and not under the control of one country or religion.

Sounds great, I wonder if I will still be able to afford to live here? How about some rent control, so that I can have a hope of saving up enough money to maybe someday buy a moldy machsan in the periphery? Oh and while you're at it, maybe pave the sidewalks and do something about vehicles blocking the crosswalk in traffic (I'm talking to YOU, Egged...)

@1 Steve, this is a classic example of idea that looks good on paper, but terrible in reality. The reality is that under Israeli rule, people of all faiths have access to their respective holy sites and the ability to pray freely in Jerusalem. Also, it's Israeli land, so why should a foreign entity or entities administer it? @3 There is already a large international airport 50 km from Jerusalem and there is little demand/need to justify the expense of building a second one. It makes more sense to have a high-speed train (which is currently under construction) to connect the airport to Jerusalem.
